Possible, but if they can prove damages (compensatory and punitive), plus attorney fees, they could lose all that and then some. If Eli is looking for scalps, they'll get them. If nothing else, to prove a point.

The next presidential election will be huge it’s regulation v common sense. This administration will thumb their nose at Lilly now they have a lot of politicians in their pocket so the next cycle will be massive for peptides. We have a 2 year window where not much will change

@Stevepep I'm missing context here. So you mean Dems will come down harder on peptides, not just GLPs but others too? I know FDA has some nutjobs who did that autocratic sneaky move in 2023 and still dragging their feet, but I'm not sure if overall this can be pinned on a specific party.
EL has everybody in their pocket, so they may go after sale of GLPs and compounders, but that's bipartisan. Look at the SAFE drug act nonsense, it was a bipartisan bill from Illinois R and D fellas.
Not sure of the 2 yr timeline, there is already enough nonsense which will increase regardless of changes in WH.

RFK Jr is no friend to Pharma. Both parties have many people who are on the take from Pharma I am not making this a party thing at all. I posted a while ago a list of the politicians who are on the take its both parties.

I wasn't in the US during COVID time, but I have heard a lot of animosity and doubt around COVID vaccine. Also why are they STILL pinning people with that. I was in a not so rich pharma country during COVID, they barely managed to give 2 shots to most of the population and then stopped. No more COVID vaccine after 2022.

I kinda agree. If Lilly can prove the "RUO" designation was a known fiction designed solely to illegally distribute an unapproved drug, and trying to hide behind an LLC shield, a judge could likely rule that the company was being used to promote the fraud, which is a primary trigger for piercing the corporate veil. Making the owners personally responsible.

@Newenough It's almost impossible, and they have the money so tied up you could never collect it if they just get decent legal advice. Now if its criminal thats entirely different

@pep_researcher It's not a secret that RFK is no fan of vaccines and Pharma. Trump has gone after Pfizer to release all of the COVID records, which they haven't done. They are just not going to bow down to Pharma; we may not have that in two years. Right now, the regulators aren't going to play along. Now if it's defense than different story. Like drones

@Stevepep I see. It'll be interesting because the peptide craze ship has sailed. Now there's no stopping. So it's also possible that the new administration just pivots and invest in that more if they see that people are willing to spend on it.
In two more years the interest and research is further going to grow exponentially.
Because if they try to go against people's will, they might lose their positions.

If trump is the secret special access patient that is getting reta from Lilly I'd imagine he'd try to stay on friendly terms with them. He's a nut job when it comes to vaccines sure, but he's not averse to giving favors to any company or government that will advantage him including pharma imo

Thats exactly what i did. I grabbed about a year of stock, and I dont even take it yet. I am planning on starting in Sept but just wanted a little stock just in case.
