      Arrrgghhhh!!
I so want to try FLGR242 but I’m in the peptide penalty box! Scarcity and FOMO have me tempted to order some now and hoard it until the chains come off.

I’m like a scrawny version of @peptidepete. Nearly 65 years old, 6ft, and 155lbs. I’m not interested in getting huge, but want to be strong and lean. FLGR242 sounds like it could really move the needle.

@diegoc Of all places, I heard about this at the hair salon I go to. One of the Asian hair stylists was showing a photo of this. She apparently gets it from Vietnam, but it's important from Japan of this Human Placenta Extract. Apparently, it makes her skin glow. It comes in vials and she injects it in her belly.

I looked it up, and here's a PubMed abstract:

        https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31787714/

        and this:

@vpeptides - I guess its kind of moot given that they sold out

Buying 10 single units +15 Free, yields a better per mg price than buying 10 double vials + 15 single vials free

It was 15 double vials free in that case.
Funny, they weren't sold out at the time of my last post.

@diegoc I presume so since placenta has stem cells including MSCs, but unlike the stem cells I have bought before, these are not refrigerated. I can presume it has the biological remnants.

@vpeptides - that makes more sense. That was a great deal offering. I was going to order it...oh well...you snooze you lose

If you could manage to order that Deal you posted, 3 x's, you would be buying 60 weeks at 5 mg /week for a little over $2500

@ImaFrogNotaRat LMAO this makes me feel so much better about the stuff that I am subjecting my cat to.

And to think, my sister’s salon got fined by the health dept for selling L’oreal hair coloring out of the back door during COVID. (Yes, someone turned her in.)

@TBone It’ll come around again. Here’s hoping our longevity protocols keep us alive until Christmas, when we can spend even more money on peptides and peptide accessories.

Wow I leave for a few days and the thread goes nuts 😛

Live stream last night with Jay C and Mike Farber brought out an interesting tidbit- using eGFR and (while not specifically mentioned I think Cystatin C reading in addition) to help dial in your Klotho dosing regimen. Farber says do NOT change the dosing, instead, adjust the days. For example "typical" admin would be one vial every 14 days. However if you have kidney issues, dial back a day or two then measure eGFR to see if any change (improvement). Reduce to a minimum (no less days between dosings than) every 8 days for the administration (as indicated by eGFR improvement or lack therof).

Some folks have baseline kidney issues, others of us may be researching agents that can affect, be "hard", on the kidneys. Klotho seems to be a very otherwise healthful tool to dial-in kidney support. It makes sense.

Farber was emphatic to say don't adjust Klotho DOSE, instead, adjust the administration TIMINGS. If anyone knows, he knows, he invented the product and has only one kidney.

Side note on FLGR- as previously mentioned I moved to research more aggressively and dose FLGR 15mg per week using a schedule of Tues/Thurs/Sat. I've noticed no negatives and while subjective, feel and look leaner.

I'd imagine individual variability here would be prevalent. If you are genetically gifted with naturally higher myostatin inhibition, you may not see as much or any improvement with higher dosing. All speculation. I'm staying on 15mg per week for a period of time for research purposes.

Farber also mentioned out of thousands of FLGR users, not one adverse reaction report.

Side note 2: I would not touch "stem calls" in any form or fashion with a ten-foot pole for a multitude of reasons. "KNOWLEDGE is knowing HOW to do something, WISDOM is knowing NOT too".

Side note 3: @spaceghost You would be a fascinating "case study". Variable-resistance training/sprinting, eating right (no excuses) is a MUST DO in combo with FLGR. There are multiple posters in-thread who have and will attest to that fact. Fucking go for it my man!

#4 @evelyn WOW! Awesome! My petite wife 40yr old remains on 2.5mg per week and looks awesome! She is NOT getting vascularized which I find interesting because I'm veiny AS HELL lol. She just looks "taut".

It's a joy to see the high-quality thread remains so 😎

                            @peptidepete

I tried to restrain my urge to over share, but here is some relevant information:
Before starting keto a year and a half ago, I had been fat (240lbs). I lost the big weight in around six months, getting down to about 160 lbs. Instead of fat, I was skinny but frail and weak looking.

Over the last year, that changed. Now I weight train four to five times a week and walk two to three miles every day. I also consume 175-200 grams of protein daily and virtually no carbs. Visually, my body began to sprout muscles that I had never seen before.

My arms and legs have leaned out, shoulders, biceps, triceps and quads are noticeably bigger, as is my chest. (Not big, just bigger). This is not preexisting muscle being revealed by fat loss, this is new. My crappy “smart scale” says I am at 15.9% body fat. Strangely, this is close to what it has said all year.

I just had my gallbladder removed, after having a large stone try to sneak out. (The doctors all suspect it was the Reta I had just started and titrated too quickly.) While the surgeon was in there, she said she looked at my liver and there was still quite a bit of fat. (She said this to my wife, as I was still knocked out.). I’ll talk to her soon for details, as it’s not often you get this kind of direct intelligence on the inner workings of your abdomen.

Right now I am off all peptides but still taking my TRT. Once things calm down from the surgery, I’ll start FLGR and let it rip.

Your Doctors are fired. The fact that they would insinuate that you got gall stones after 3 weeks of Reta and not losing 80 pounds in 6 months is wild. I would also stop reiterating this point. Its comically stupid and might lead someone away from a great weight loss intervention.

@spaceghost Wow! Huge changes! Congrats on the hard work! Hepatic fat, NAFLD, is so bad as you already know. Look at Tesa/Ipa, or, better yet the nectar itself. So many good sources. As you alluded to, Reta (if tolerated) would be especially good for eliminating liver fat.

Presumably you consume ZERO sugars and ZERO fruit juices as that converts directly to liver fat. Fruit juice is SO bad for people, it is poison.

Seems to me FLGR would be magic for you. Please be sure to confirm or deny if you try it! As previously emphasized, give a min of 3 months to evaluate effects.

@diegoc I actually interjected that point with the GI doc, but the old geezer was firmly entrenched in his position.

@peptidepete You are correct. No sugars or fruit juice. The minimal carbs I get are usually from the zero sugar creamer in my coffee and sweetener in my protein shakes. All told, about 10 grams a day.

@SpaceGhost Ive tried KETO and i love the way how sharp you feel.

Although for training and filling in your muscles i love to add carbs.

So there is a trade off.

Just high protein mainly all day and load carbs pre and post workouts and the glycogen goes straight to your muscles.

I just get great pumps with carbs.

@TrueNorth my calculations were about buying in pairs, 2 vials for $99.50 with those 5 + 6 free and 10 + 15 free, and adding 15% off on top deals.

I’m interested in reintroducing some carbs to assist with energy for workouts. I’m just not sure where to start. Just saying new was easy.
