@WisGal64 I think I’m in the same GB. Looking forward to researching with the 5A1MQ for the first time. Heard good things. 😊

@thanks_enjoi do you have a reason to trust there is exactly what they listed and in such quantities in those bottles?

@WisGal64 Not sure about the freezing. I am going to have to do a lot more research for sure prior to my order arriving. I guess that is the one good thing about a GB. You have plenty of time to get your protocol and storage questions answered.

Well it finally arrived, it was quite warm due to the weather. The more I thought about the whole transferring to smaller vials, the less I like it due to potentially contaminating them during the transfer. Also, don't like the idea of how many punctures there will be with that amount of Amino in one vial. What did you find in your research?

@wisgal64 Mine should arrive today. I plan to start with a smaller dose but move up to 50mgs a day. I do not plan to transfer it into a different vial. I will practive cleanliness as always and not concern myself with the pokes on the vial. Were you going to dose a lot lower than that, hence many more pokes over time on the vial?

@Shaqdiesel @wisgal64 I got mine on Monday. Also quite warm sitting in the mailbox before I got home. I transferred 3 ml into a pen to see how that works for me. Was also worried about too many punctures in the 20ml vial if I kept going in for single doses. Pinned 25mg yesterday and 50mg today. While I didn’t notice an immediate effect with 25, today I can definitely feel a boost within 10 minutes of pinning. Bordering on jittery. I’ll gauge how I feel throughout the day to determine if I’ll go back down a bit or stay at this dosage.

From what I personally understand about 5 amino-1mq is the following. Please feel free to add to further educate myself. :

                      1. 5-Amino-1MQ is designed to help the body use fat as energy by blocking an enzyme called NNMT, which reduces fat storage and increases cellular energy expenditure.

                      2. 5-Amino-1MQ forces your body to use fat as energy by activating cellular enzymes that control your metabolism, shifting fat cells from a "storage" mode to a "burn" mode

                      3. 5 amino 1mq kinda recycles NAD+. It acts as an enzyme blocker that stops your cells from wasting the building blocks needed to make NAD+.

Now using fat as the fuel, while NAD+ is the engine component that burns it. You cannot use NAD+ instead of fat for energy; your cells use NAD+ to extract energy from fat. The same way it does carbohydrates.
That's why you feel this *energy. Now keep in mind that fat contains more than twice the energy of carbohydrates per gram. Fat provides 9 calories per gram, whereas carbohydrates provide only 4 calories per gram.

After optimizing my mitochondria I now only run, well aways been running 1-2mg subQ every other day depending on my agenda. I have pushed it up to 4mg and felt a little to much so I titrate back down. Its not a serge/rush of energy but a significant amount of steady energy to get me through the day. I do not understand why these high dosages? Be patient this stuff is strong. Maybe my dosages are cause I have run it before with 500mcgs of Slurpy synergistically. But Slurpy has significantly given me endurance as for 5amino' more energy.

@extropian Most people don't notice any effect until they get around 25mgs+ subq. The lower dosages are probably more of a placebo type effect. I believe Randy said he has gone up to about 50mgs but he didn't really notice any benefit after going past 25mgs, so he now does 25mgs.

                            @Shaqdiesel Hmmm interesting.
I added 5amino-1mq and slu-pp-332 to my reta stack. While running my mitochondria stack (motsc, nad, ss-31) which made it even better running off fatty acids for fuel via 5amino and slupp . Must have been one hell of a placebo effect because since the first time I felt the difference. I went back on it yesterday. No mitochondria stack. Took 5amino-1mg and I felt it without Slurpy (need to recon anotherone). If I can run on placebo alone it would have save me quite a bit. Maybe you need to run it synergistically with others and not alone. Maybe you need to optimize your mitochondria and insulin sensitivity to make the best of it. Can't say it enough, foundation first.

@EXTROPIAN I take 50mg 5-amino-1mq as a capsule 2 times a day. If I feel anything, it's a very mild flush sometimes. Not observed anything else yet, for 1 week.
I read/heard though that subq inj may be more bioavailable and that's why people take a lot less, like 1 mg.

@EXTROPIAN @vpeptides In the end it is all N=1 research and we are all different. That is true on all peps and dosage. Some people take .5mg Reta and never have to go higher. Some shoot up to 8mgs before they actually start seeing any effect.

I thought about running 5-Amino-1MQ together with NAD+, but when I looked into it, I found some information that this might actually be counterproductive? What do you guys think?

@jamesboyles 5-Amino-1MQ increases cellular NAD+ levels by blocking an enzyme called NNMT, which normally breaks down the building blocks needed to make NAD+. If you still want to add NAD+ I would personally do low dosages just in case. I would rather run 5amino' with MOTS. The trick here is to run the mitochondria on mostly fatty acids instead of glucose. Scroll up and see what else it does w fats.

                                    "How It Works with NAD.

                                    1. Blocks NNMT: It stops nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), an enzyme that tags NAD+ building blocks for disposal.
                                    2. Saves Precursors: By stopping that enzyme, it keeps nicotinamide available to build more NAD+.
                                    3. Raises Energy: Preclinical studies show this boosts cellular NAD+ levels by roughly 1.2 to 1.6-fold, helping cells create energy more efficiently."

Update- I moved to 25mg subq as @randy did, noticed no difference. However some weeks ago I added oral 5-Amino PM on top of my AM subq. Can't find factual research in regards to subq being bioavailable/efficacious (some say it is not), therefore hedging my bets. Frustrating. If someone finds reliable info (not a YT influencer...lol) please post and reference? TIA! At the moment, I plan to be on it indefinitely due to the NAD+ recycling benefits, love my NAD.
