  • Southern Aminos Adamax question
    D djoelcassell

    On Southern Aminos website, I viewed Adamax (that's what I was looking for).
    When I clicked on the selection, I had two options Adamax Prime ($42) and Adamax Apex ($70.40). When I looked at the COAs, they both showed only Adamax and at a 99.3-99.5% purity (roughly). My point is that both vials, per the MOA, have 10mgs of high purity Adamax. Why is one significantly more expensive. Like I said, the COAs only show Adamax; neither are blends and Both Show 10mgs.
    I asked via email,

    "Please explain the difference between Adamax Prime and Adamax Apex? They appear to both be the same amount in mgs, and both high grade Adamax, so why is Apex much more expensive? I thought perhaps Apex was a blend, but no other peptides are shown on the COAs.
    I want to buy Adamax but need to know the answer to my question before making a purchase."

    I have not received a response to my email, which was sent three days ago. If someone knows, please let me know. I purchased Adamax from another vendor this time, but with 60% off, I wanted to take advantage and get a lot.
    Thank you!

    @investormogulllc That's amazing! I am so happy for your relief! It's miserable to go through life in constant pain! I do not need to lose any weight, but I'm going to start taking a microdose of Reta. I wonder if sub 1mg would still lead to pain relief?

    And, "playing on our national soccer team decades ago." What an accomplishment! You must have been an amazing player to get to that level!

    Good luck on your continued effort to help others heal with Peptides!

    @Stan-Douglas Typically, recommended dosing of Epitalon is twenty consecutive days then off for six months. Supposed to do it once, and no more than twice, per year. Your body adjusts to it and it won't be effective if you do it more frequently.

    @investormogulllc If you end up using 1 unit, I highly recommend getting smaller syringes. For small doses, I use a .3 ml syringe with recognizable hash marks for each 1 unit. Don't do a dose that small on a 1 ml syringe; you really can't read that. Especially at 60. I'm 61, I know, Lol.

    @jamiegallien You're on HRT, right? If not, I highly recommend it. It will do nothing but help in EVERY category almost. Not TOO much, just what you are lacking to get to optimal. No need to hang at low normal. I tested 7 years ago at 363. I think at the time the range of normal was 360-1500. They've since lowered the upper range to 750 or close to it. That's because (whatever reason) young men and men in general have lower testosterone levels than my generation. Crazy, it's probably from multiple factors: plastics, food additives, sitting in front of a game console/tv/laptop instead of playing outside, etc. But the main thing is this: There is NO reason to walk around at sub-optimal when you don't have to. I found a doc who told me the same and got me to 1500 where I have been since. I feel much better, have more energy, higher libido, better focus, less brain fog..." So many positives. Good Luck and keep up the good work.

    @Stevepep You're correct for sure! Not everyone believes in their efficacy, but I drink Kenetik ketones; one shot per day. Dr Elizabeth Yurth, OG doc for longevity and peptides, likes it. She said if she could only take one supplement it would be the Kenetik shot of Ketones. Here's why these specifically.

    Dr. Yurth strongly emphasizes mitochondrial efficiency and reducing systemic inflammation to help joints, muscles, and tissues heal at a cellular level. She publicly argues that most commercial ketone products use "ketone salts" or a mix of chemical isomers that the body cannot easily absorb. She advocates for products like Kenetik because they use pure, bioidentical D-beta-hydroxybutyrate (D-BHB), which she argues is the exact format the brain and muscles use to lower oxidative stress and accelerate physical recovery.
    Ketone products (the right ones) can really assist in countering systemic inflammation. It has worked for me.

    @jamiegallien Great work! And who says there has to be a next time! Good to note in your journey, but if you stay connected, you shouldn't have to go through this again. My sister lost 180lbs and has kept it off ever since (two years and counting). Good luck to you!! You;re getting there more quickly than ever before possible with safety! Keep going!

    At least 20 days. I usually don't buy larger than a 24iu kit (10 vials of 24iu). I reconstitute the one vial at a time and have never had any problems with efficacy. And I take 2iu daily. Each vial is only reconstituted 12 days max. I once got a 48iu genotropin pen, but I'm not sure about those. Geno is supposedly best but No one sells them that I really trust, so I just get the kits now.
    I think that answers your question. If not, let me know.

    @diegoc Hello there!

    I was part of the Jay Campbell's inner sanctum group for awhile and Jay saw tremendous gains from doing it daily. He was doing it bi-weekly then changed to daily to test it. When he did he saw immediate gains and benefits. There was a lot of conversation between many experienced users and I just watched and listened. I thought it could have been that when Jay changed from q 2 weeks to q day he had just reached a level in his system that would have taken him there anyway. The inventor of FLGR-242 (mike) gave a few reasons why taking it more frequently could be better, but was skeptical. I thought the same. So I tried it three times per week (from once every two weeks) and I did see more of the fat loss benefit, but my muscle gains did not increase. I am now at two times per week since reaching a point that I didn't want to lose any more fat and I've backed off on my dosage to 2.5mg. I'm still seeing muscle gains, so I've actually had to alter my workouts so I don't grow anymore.
    There is no definitive proof that taking it more frequently helps in muscle growth, but there is experiential and anecdotal evidence that taking it more frequently will shred you better.

    Hope that helps!

    @PeptidePete Hello!
    I can't say for sure if it's "better" IM. When I look at the research most of the injections were IM, so to be on the safe side I do it that way.
    Since you've been Sub-Q'ing, maybe you could inject IM for six weeks and see if there are changes. I'd be interested to see. THis stuff ain't cheap though, so I don't really want to experiment. Lol

    Good luck with it! I'm going to keep doing both Klotho and FLGR-242 for now. Still seeing great results from the FLGR-242! I now know enough people who are all gaining with it to say it is a fantastic compound!

    @brandenscheidecker What is your goal with the HGH? The reason I ask, I take 2IU every evening because I am not using it to get huge. I work out and am at my goal weight and size, so I take what I need to maintain and get the longevity benefits without side effects. 4IU/day is a pretty hefty dose and you will probably get sides with it; insulin resistance which could lead to HGH belly, carpal tunnel syndrome, and it can spike your cortisol. If you took 4IU per day for a couple of years, you could get worse sides that change your body composition. If you are taking it for longevity 1IU is great. If you want to assist with muscle building and fat loss - then up to 2IU. If you are a body builder you can take 4IU/day but know there will be side effects from it - and I wouldn't do it for months, just weeks, and then titrate down.
    Someone on the forum may disagree with me, but I've seen this happen to friends of mine. HGH is great but must be used with caution. Hope that helps.

    Oh, and be careful with the FLGR-242 injections. Do not get it into your muscles. It can cause big reaction knots that stay for awhile if you do. Those reactions are noted on Jay Campbell's inner Sanctum Telegram private group page. I have never had any issues and I inject FLGR-242 twice a week 2.5mg per injection. I am now backing off to do 1mg twice per week, as I have gotten the results I was going for. Now I am in maintenance phase.
    The Klotho, I inject IM twice a week as well, but have not increased dose since it can be dangerous to inject too much Klotho.

    Some people have said it's the albumin binder that causes the reactions, but it can't be if you can IM the Klotho since both have the binder. It is something in the FLGR product that makes it bad for IM injections.

    @PeptidePete Yes! I have been using both for about 6 months. I honestly can't say how much I feel with the Klotho, but it's more about blood work anyway. I have better Kidney function and my blood markers show that since starting. Don't know if it's worth the money since I don't have significant health issues that Klotho would address anyway. But it is supposed to be the longevity peptide.

    The FLGR 242, a different story. It has allowed me to drop Reta to a microdose since it burns fat so effectively. I'm a 61 year old man and have been on TRT for 6 years. Since taking the FLGR-242, I have put on more muscle and gotten ripped. I have always worked out and had good muscle size. Now it is a little bigger and like I said, ripped.

    Klotho may be doing other amazing things that I don't see. That's why I still take it, but I am taking the FLGR 242 because of the results I can see. It's really a fantastic product! Hope that helps.

    @MyB Randomly picked your post instead of anyone else on this thread:
    Why do I need these? I have a zip up case that will hold all my vials and keep it in the fridge once reconstituted? So, why do I need multiple portable ones? If the answer is for traveling, when I am traveling, I put my large case in a cooler with freezer packs and transfer to my condo fridge when I arrive; or for my work day in the office, my cooler zip up case that holds just what I need during the day.
    I think these look cool, but I am trying to see the actual need for them if you don't mind. Are these in lieu of the zip up vial storage units?

    Not trying to be a jerk in any way, I assure you. Thank you! And of course, anyone else, please respond.

    @Eleanor HAHA! That's pretty funny.
    And totally true! Example: Iraq in July 138 F, Ft Benning GA in July 98 w/90% humidity. MUCH hotter at Benning!! Much more miserable! Not even close! Lol

    Direct sunlight is MUCH more damaging to peptides than heat! Photons degrade peptides and break the covalent bonds rendering the peptides useless after just days of direct exposure. According to a study in the Journal of Peptide Science, UV light exposure for just 48 hours can reduce the potency of certain lyophilized peptides by 15% to 20%. Heat takes weeks or months to cause that level of damage to freeze dried lyophilized peptides. I think it would do damage, but not much, if the peptides were in a shipping container in 110 degree Fahrenheit heat for a week or more. I get that after reading that journal of peptide science article reporting. https://adonyxbio.com/the-art-and-science-of-storing-lyophilized-peptides-a-deep-dive-into-stability-and-longevity/ and the reports below.

    https://www.perfectb.com/how-to-store-peptides/

    https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1010603023000928

    AND THIS ONE HITS THE HEAT THRESHOLD almost perfectly.

    https://onyxbiolabs.com/2026/01/25/peptide-stability-guide-freezer-vs-refrigerator-storage-protocols/?srsltid=AfmBOoo-_9H4UylTlqB93pD8mQ6noOc-d8BoCXwyWs722sOc6RjwbNlL

    "lyophilized peptides easily tolerate brief, transient heat exposures up to 40°C–45°C (104°F–113°F) during transit with no measurable loss in purity. Thermal energy alone simply lacks the power to easily break covalent bonds in a completely dry, glassy matrix."
