@Foodstampede it was hurting my sleep, which is already horrible, on 1mg. On 2mg, I was sleeping 3-4 hours a night and working 12-14 hour days. No sleep predisposes me to a.fib (for the last couple years). This was just a trigger, even on 1-2mg. Now that I am on DSIP and lunesta tho, it might be better if I moved back

Hey all, a bit concerned. I purchased a batch of tirzepatide from Nexaph about mid-April after having been on reta for about 2 months without issues except some palpitations so I thought I would give tirz a try. I know it's not apples to apples, but I was on 4 mg of reta when I switched and started on 2mg of tirz and thought I must have picked up a stomach bug (going around) because the runs were insane for 3-4 days and I didn't really feel any appetite changes like I did on reta, so I thought just a fluke. Took the 2nd week dose a day early and I'm completely TORE UP. 20-30x/day for the last 2 days. Anyway, I looked at Finnrick and noticed that for tirzepatide, Nexaph got a pretty low grade, E. The most recent batches seemed to score ok, except a couple sent in early March that didn't do well. Mine was batched on 3/28/26 and I got the blue cap/blue crimp 60mg vials.

Just wondering if anyone out there has

1. Has had similar experiences with switching from reta to tirz?
2. Has anyone had trouble with tirz from Nexaph recently?

Any input much appreciated . I know I could just send off a vial to Finnrick. Just wondering if it's worth it or if it's just me

@Stan-Douglas I haven't researched pinealon, but I have been on DSIP for the last 2 weeks with a peptide pen compliments of Jeff and Randy. At first I noticed nothing, however the past week and a half after the first few days has been some of the best sleep of my life. I am a horrendous sleeper and have tried basically everything over the counter and prescription and was starting to reach out to "the fringes" before I started this. I still take my sleep medication but now it keeps me asleep more than 3 to 4 hours and I have had a deeper more restful sleep. Anyway, for what that's worth to someone out there.
Started on two units via a pen needle x 3 days about an hour before I wanted to start winding down. Currently on three units qhs and holding strong.

However, 50% or even 75% off of 0 (the amount of peptides I received) is still throwing money in the fire!

@Randy I know this sounds naive, new to all of this and to pen needle injectors, but we have a pretty nice Tuttnauer clave in our clinic. Can I recycle old cartridges by carefully washing them and throwing them in there? Will it affect the rubber plungers and plugs?

I purchased a bulk order and was nervous because this was the first time I had ordered a peptide in general and it didn't seem like there were many reviews out there, but the price was great and I know not everyone cares about Finrick testing but it was reassuring to see an A rating. I have researched with this and have four others who have researched and they all seem to be doing great and are having positive experiences. My only nuance was with payment over Zelle that was a little confusing. Whoever was assisting me was very prompt and replying and even gave me a discount coupon that I have yet to use but could apply to a second order. The shipping was fast. I would definitely buy from them again, at least this product.

@Ctrain24 thanks! Zyrtec is what I was thinking of suggesting to her. I use a research version of the AI Perplexity in my medical practice and it suggested to avoid alcohol and hot showers or other skin irritatants and make sure you were doing light exercises instead of heavy for a bit and considering supplementing with vitamins B1, B6, B12, magnesium, and making sure protein is adequate at the 1.2-1.6g/kg/day. If it persists for more than 4 weeks, reduce dose or talk to your doctor about low dose gabapentin or amitriptyline.
I was mainly throwing this out there as a straw pole if people had noticed this at low doses, and it looks like yes, so thanks!

@Nugzz49 Thanks for the quick reply and the zinc advice! I guess the main question was if anyone had experienced this side effect on small doses. I would consider 8mg a pretty moderate to larger dose.
I posted some updates to my questions that may have affected her product though and would love thoughts on those too!

I just found out some more information that might be of use. Apparently, her virtual in-another-state "peptide coach" said that her 46 mg vial would be fine in the fridge in a light-sealed box for up to 6 months . She is on month 4. Would the level of degradation that has (almost certainly) occurred potentially cause more side effects? I would think it would just make the product impotent.
Oh, a couple more questions that may e I will make a different question for the community with, but she has a bunch of these 46mg vials in the freezer. Would it be better for her to try and somehow carefully split and transfer the unreconstituted powder to smaller sterile vials and freeze those? Can you freeze reconstituted reta if filtered into a smaller sterile vial and use it later?

So, my sister-in-law is researching with Ratatouille and she started researching about 4 months ago and has been on ultra low dosing starting at 0.5 mg per week and now is currently on 2.25 mg and started having skin sensitivity issues. She and I are both confused because we were under the impression that this side effect was really only noted in trials where people were on much higher doses. Wondering if any other is out there have had a similar experience with reta on low doses like this with skin sensitivity? Could it possibly be the vendor and product that she is using? We are using different vendors for the product. Would love any thoughts or experiences with similar issues. Thanks!

I ordered two days after this researcher and it's been a nightmare. I absolutely hope I will see my money again as a refund, but doubtful I will. Zero communication after the took my crypto. After posting here and there and everywhere, excuses are all I got, if I got anything. Got a request for crypto refund which I sent at least four days before "their website was shut down" and of course did not receive it. Joined discord to see what was up, and just excuses. I placed too big of an order without having tried them first and I "lived and learned".
Please remember, sometimes prices really are "too good to be true". I learned the hard way. Constant vigilance Potter!
