Also if it were me (and i were interested in mots) I would trust the sample photo and cap color. Southern is sourcing from china. They dont lyo. they add the labels themselves.

I appreciate the tip. Considering the refresher I just got on this happening before with Southern Aminos, I'm thinking that it will probably just be a waste of time contacting them and too much headache. Right now I'm leaning towards taking my lick and avoiding them going further. Sometimes getting educated isn't free.

Thanks. I remember that post now. It was posted right before I joined. I remember skimming through it but it was before I understood the whole COA thing. I guess it didn't "click" when I found Southern.

Yeah, he knows what he's doing. If he drops a new pen every few months, he knows we will bite. It's not very cool to play on our weaknesses, but it's a shrewd business move.

Yep, it will probably be my last from them, which I why the title is "fall from grace". I'm not liking how the field of vendors keeps getting more and more narrow but I guess that's all part of the game. It's a shame because I got some good deals from them.

I've purchase a few times from Southern Aminos. Ordering was easy, sales were good, and shipping was fast. However, this past order leaves me with some cause for concern. Outside of them using the dreaded Freedom and ILS labs, I noticed a discrepancy with my latest order.

They had 40mg vials of MOTS-c on sale for Labor day. Roughly $43 per vial. I've never tried MOTS-c so I figured I would give it try and ordered 3 vials. On their website they listed two active shipping batches. I knew it would be a gamble on which one I would get but I ordered anyway. One batch (I'll call it Batch 1) had a Freedom COA listed as an average fill of 37.29 (I know...low) and cap/crimp color of yellow/silver. The batch number is MS40826N. The second batch (Batch 2) had an ILS COA listed as an average fill of 42.17 with a cap/crimp of purple/silver. The batch number is MS400626N.

What I received was labeled as Batch 2 with the batch number of MS400626N but the cap/crimp was yellow/silver. So the batch number on the label matches one ILS COA but the cap/crimp description and picture match the Freedom COA.

I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm not too worried about the fill amount. I could just use 40mg as the average. Did they just put the wrong label on the wrong vial? How much cause for concern is this and should I contact them about the discrepancy? I will hold off using until I get some feedback from the community.

@stevepep Has that "one time" happened to you? If so, what were the repercussions?

Currently, I'm on team V4 but I have tried the Convipen auto injector and I must say that I've been very pleased. I have been fighting the urge to try them all, including the new Ultra. Like many others, I have more pens than peptides. I'm a gear head and have considered starting a Peptide Pens Anonymous.

I've been reading in other places that some people really like the Novopens. Anybody know what makes those special? I never wanted to deal with the adapters.

They sent out an email on Sunday stating they now had an option for Bitcoin. It gave the illusion that there may be issues with Zelle. Don't know if this helps but it's all the info I have. Below is a quote from part of the email I'm referencing.

Outside of it being just something new that you want to try, I think it depends on the protocol and your current stock. If you are already adding to a stash, it would be fine. Or, if you have something that was either low dose and/or short protocol, I don't think a couple of vials would be too bad either. DSIP for example, doesn't take much or for very long so a few bottles.

icynmemby mentioned risk tolerance level in an earlier post. We all know everyone has their own. The problem with eliminating the "shitty lab of the month club" is that we are down to what 3 or 4 labs? If everyone shifted to using just those few, there is no way they could keep up with the demand. I don't think it would be a stretch to guess that ILS and Freedom's downfalls are partly due to them trying to keep up. If you eliminate any vendor that uses anyone but the big 3 (or4) labs, you eliminate a HUGE portion of the vendors out there. I agree that these vendors and labs need to be held accountable and things won't change unless we do our part, but boy is it frustrating.

@icynemby 90mg of reta wouldn't have been bad at all.

Good prices are very subjective. If you compare everything to the cheapest grey prices possible, everyone's prices suck.

I paid $43 for a 40mg of MOTS-C. That's comparable to a 10mg vial for $10.75 or roughly a $1 per mg. Breaking it down that's comparable to Nexaph prices with their current discount. I won't split hairs for a couple of bucks. I hadn't found any other "retail" vendors close to that besides Nexaph. !Correction! S1 Research was similarly priced on 40mg.

On the item page itself. It wasn't blatantly advertised on the main page when I saw it. If you select Shop-All Peptides so that a list of all their items how up, the flash price will just show as the price of the peptide.
