Now I was wondering about this. It seems that the pep will either survive digestion or it won't and why would a capsule work differently?

  • Mixing BPC157, TB500, Cartalax and GHK-Cu

More thoughts. And Actions. And Headache?
So I am wondering if "stack" specifically means a cocktail all mixed into one vial, or is the word also used to describe the collection of peptides which are individually pinned but all part of the same cycle?
I like the idea of controlling specific doses and not worrying about chemical degradation if two (or more) peps are mixed/stored in a single vial and drawn in a single syringe, so I have my "stack" (BPC, TB500, KPV, GHK-Cu, Cartalax) as seperate vials but hate sticking the rabbit 4 times per night (5 on Sun/Wed for the TB500).
Tonight I drew all but the TB500 and squirted them into the butt end of a single syringe and poked the rabbit once with that pile and another time with the TB500. It seemed to go ok, but seems to have "pressure" in his right eye plus a mild headache for about 20 minutes.
The rabbit is a freakin hypochondriac (spelling?) so it may be psychosomatic, but any others note similar reaction?
Additional note - increased Caratalax from 2mg to 3mg today - only change with start of a new week.
    Cheers

Thoughts on pin cushion syndrome avoidance?
Now that I have added KPV to the mix the poor rabbit gets 4 holes each evening plus an extra on Sun and Wed for the TB500.
Can you draw KPV, BPC and GHK into the same syringe for example
If so what would be the proper way to do that?

I have added KPV (shipping at moment).
Also looking at bumping up GHK-Cu and Cartalax.
Since I have been alternating Elbow/Knee may increase overall daily BPC (maybe not quite to double) and pin one in AM, one in PM. Thoughts?
I want to give all that some time to become routine before I even start thinking about the HGH addition at the moment.

Can you elaborate on the last line - what is 2IU and "before bed fasted"
I thought the BPC/TP did deal with inflammation, what is the super power of KPV and should it be local or abdomen pin site and morning or evening
    Cheers

    @Eleanor
    Thanks for your input.

I did not specify, but I have been giving all doses in the evening, vaguely around supper time.

I am not sure if there is a benefit one way or another for evening vs morning.

The rabbit eats early evening then no food until ~11 am (except for a dose of caffeine with a little protein powder mixed in at 6-7am), so thinking was that the peptides would start making their rounds shortly after digestion had gone to work and then have hours to play around. Certainly no medical education behind it. I am a rocket scientist, not a brain sugeon, Jim! (bad quote of a proper engineer).

I have seen such a wide range of recommendations for the Cartalax, some that max at 2mg, some that start there and go to 5mg daily. My plan is to ramp fairly quickly with the hope of seeing some effect, but not so quickly that I cannot bail if there are issues. So far the rabbit seems quite tolerant of just about anything stuck in him except alcohol.

I did not know you could still get DMSO! I will look into that. I assume vet or farm stores?

  • Throw Some Rocks - Thoughts on my Stack
    P pmcelveen

Still relatively new to this and have settled into a stack and developing new habits.

I thought I would share process to date and planned going forward and let those with more experience throw some rocks (or polite suggestions) at my stack, dosage, injection sites, supplements, etc.

    History of the rabbit:

    • Given a life expectancy of 10 years (and I am shooting for 100 personally), the rabbit is 6 1/2 years old.
    • Extensive knee, and probably hip and back, injury at early age
    • Torn "shoulder" bits at approximately mid-life
    • Recent "elbow" tendonitis - debilitating, almost complete loss of left forearm
    • Ongoing foot (plantar fasciitis or heel spurs?) issues
    • Other than the shoulders, this is all predominantly left side of body

Loss of elbow functionality occured on tax day this year, followed by 6 weeks of limited to no functionality.

Began PT late May - focus on hips and rebalancing of general body mobility, icing and stim on specific injuries.

    Also began researching peptides.

    Peptide Research:
    June 6: Began BPC157 and TB500
    BPC157 - .2mg daily SQ elbow, titrated to .5mg over 4 weeks
TB500 - .75mg (day one) SQ abdomen twice weekly titrated to 1.5mg over 3 weeks

Elbow functionality began returning mid 2nd week, large reduction in pain while resting, noticeable reduction in pain under load.

July 6: Addition of GHK-Cu and Cartalax, Mod of BPC to cover elbow and left knee/heel.
BPC-157 - 0.5mg daily SQ elbow (Sun, Tue, Thur, Sat); knee (Mon, Wed, Fri)
TB500 - 1.5mg SQ abdomen Sun and Wed
    GHK-Cu - 0.7mg daily SQ abdomen, will titrate to 2mg daily (1mg wk 2, 1.5mg wk 3, 2mg wk 4) assuming no adverse reaction.
Cartalax - 1.0mg daily SQ shoulder (Sun, Tue, Thur, Sat), hip (Mon, Wed, Fri), will titrate to 2mg daily (1.4mg wk 2, 2.0mg wk 3)

Plan is to reach a plateau beginning of August with (summary):
BPC-157 - 0.5mg daily (split between elbow and knee)
Cartalax - 2.0mg daily (split between shoulder and hip)
    GHK-Cu - 2.0mg daily (abdomen)
    TB-500 - 1.5mg 2x/week (abdomen)

Will run through September then pause for 4 weeks and evaluate.

Any thoughts on dosages, injection sites?

I have seen a variety of dosage recommendations for Cartalax, some bigger and some smaller than what I am planning, same with the GHK-Cu.

I plan to have my vet do bloodwork that includes tests for copper and zinc - anything else I should have him look for?

My motivation for splitting elbow/knee and shoulder/hip is to deal with the elbow first, but also start on the knee and heel issues. With all the left side issues, the rabbit looks like a NASCAR driver. Pining Cartalax in shoulder and hip with the thought that gravity will suck it down while providing coverage for those joints as well.

There have been no side effects thus far other than slight pin-sight itch (10-15 minutes at most) and slight bruising plus a very vague almost headache or eye-itch about 30 minutes after injection, either goes away or becomes unnoticeable after about 10-15 minutes.

Big glass house - throw some rocks.

Floaters are an issue but pre-peptide. In fact I have trained myself to look around the floaters to see the world 🙂
Some squiggly flashes could also be an optical migraine - again, pre-peptide occurences. Rare for me but they do occasionally announce an oncoming real migraine.

    WisGal,
You reference eye-related reactions to the BPC, could you be a little specific about that.
I have notice something between a minor itch and minor ache in my eye(s) about 1-2 hours after injection, but also have allergies that I have attributed it to.
    Thanks

    @brandenscheidecker
    Thanks for those details!
When you say you pinned different locations - were those approximate to injury sites or abdomen, hips, etc just to alleviate bruising.
I am trying to address issues primarily on the left side of the subject rabbit. Shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and heel.
So to detail the question more thoroughly, should did you pin each peptide in a different location "on Monday" (cartalax - shoulder, kpv - elbow, bpc - hip, tb - knee, ghk - heel), or did you do all peptides in shoulder on Monday, elbow on Tuesday, hip on Wednesday, etc.).
Gotta Love this forum with all of the willing help and experience being shared.

I just started doing daily TB-500 along with the BPC, both in the elbow (rotating sights near the elbow joint) two days ago. Was doing the TB on Sun and Wed.
This morning the elbow seems to be more functional than it has been even after strenuous activity yesterday.

Should receive the Cartalax and GHK-Cu tomorrow and be able to start on Wed.

    Thank you again!
