Hi guys. I would really appreciate some guidance. So, I’ve taken the plunge and bought Ruby, my Research Rat, her first peptide AOD 9604, a 5mg vial. I have never reconstituted before, complete beginner.

I then saw Geoff and Randy’s video on how best to reconstitute AOD 9604 and that 2mg is more stable.
It’s too late now I have the 5mg, damn it!

Can anyone advise on how much BAC water I should use to get the best outcome to minimise gelling up?

I was going to use 2ml but after seeing the video, I’m reconsidering. Ruby is expecting good things! 😉

    Thank you

There is an acidic bac water you can buy for AOD, I didn't know this at the time, constituted with regular bac water and just held it in the palm of my hand for a few minutes until it ungelled.
Only had to do it a couple times, it stays liquid now.

As far as how much to use, that all depends on what dose you want to stick to that rat. Play around with the Reconstitution Calculator right above under the Cal&Tools tab.

Thanks, although Geoff and Randy said that if you need to resort to using acetic acid then it’s inferior peptide, BAC water, or poor method. If you’re having to use acetic acid with good method then the peptide maybe non-effective, therefore no point injecting, only vacuum and lots of BAC water required. Geoff used a ratio of 1ml to 1mg. Not sure I can get 5ml in my vial!
I’m trying to give my 5mg AOD the best chance without having to use acetic acid. Geoff mentioned that he has difficulty with 5mg vials and that 2mg are better.
I’m wondering what measurements people are having success with, with 5mg vials.

My first reconstitution with an awkward peptide! I should be a professional after this 😂

I pre-fill syringes after I recon. So for a 5mg vial, I have 5 syringes that I store in the fridge and then pull out each morning. Otherwise drawing out of the vial can take a long time as it's a "thicker" liquid and needs to warm up etc.

            That’s a good idea, thanks for that👌🏻
I reconstituted my first vial, so far so good. It took a long time to dissolve….I’m not sure how quickly it will gel, if it does at all, fingers crossed.
