What 3D printer should I order and lets put some files here
-
I would love to buy a 3d printer. But I tried to work in that TinkerCad and couldn’t figure it out…
@Commander I use Sharpr3d it takes a bit to learn but it’s super easy once you get it. You can get started by just downloading stuff people already created on makers world. I have designed and printed a bunch of stuff. It’s a very cool hobby but time consuming and you start looking at things completely differently.

Bow complicated is it just to print files people already created? I read there is a lot of settings and different nozzles a d stuff like that.
@Commander If this were 4 years ago I would say it were more of a concern. Nowadays with a <$250 printer from BambuLabs its almost painlessly simple.
A lot of the Bambu stuff if you just see it from the phone app, you can print directly from there, and they encourage creators to pre-slice the files for you

@Commander it’s super easy pick something on makers world and it will open it in Bambu labs. Hit print and that it. Designing stuff can get complicated but I am living Sharpr3d

@Commander I can send you some fills for vial cases and pens

One think I just realized… I have a stupid Mac computer. So these programs run on Max or Windows? I also have a windows computer laying around if I need to use it
@Commander Mac is actually better.
-
@Commander Only if you want to directly connect. The Bambu ones use WiFi
-
Alright you guys have talked me into it pulling the trigger on a printer lol thinking of going with the Bambu p1s

@Commander you just open in Bambi lab they is a command you can’t miss in makers world. Click prepare and it will slice the print. Once done click print and that it’s it. You can also access makers world in the Bambi labs app on you phone or tablet and print from there.this is a great one for pens. Just click on the link and print it. Get ready for a whole new world. It’s addicting

@cmiller4226 I started with the A1 mini and still use it like crazy it’s terrific. I just added the X2D with dual nozzles and AMS and it’s game changer. It prints text with the dual nozzle perfect. I have designed tons of stuff for my house to organize things on sharpr3D. Most everything you can find on makers world so for the most part there is no need to go crazy designing.

@Stevepep
See you are making me spend more money… I will order this X2D & AMS when I get back from vacation… -
@Commander honestly you can’t go wrong with any of them
-
I’m down in the same rabbit hole with you @commander.
I’m think I will settle on the X2D. It’s not easy for me to not spend the extra money
. A buddy of mine has the P1s and it’s remarkable. He prints all day long with it. The X will be much more capable and faster, and I think that’s gonna be my entry point. Definitely with the AMS.
