Klotho / FLGR242 (albumin-bound new tech)

@peptideed speaking of your sturgeon roe posts… could you expand on (or at least point out the threads to pull) the reason sturgeon roe instead of sockeye salmon roe?

As noted in the other thread, I urge independent research on this topic. Very different nutrient profiles.
The salmon roe is the next best choice but you need to be accepting of a very different flavor profile as well. If salmon, I'd suggest buying the fresh-frozen ones and defrosting as needed. Some of the stuff in jars is vile, you eat oxidized roe you are damaging your body.
My new favorite supplier, Bester Caviar, just ran a buy two get two sale (that's 50% off for math challenged...lol) for 24 hours. Bought several kgs enough for several months.

I am going to vote this thread the most expensive thread in peptide history. Congratulations on wiping out all my savings since joining this forum.
@ResearchCat I’ll second that vote! lol

This is interesting, but both users in this thread have confounding compounds and may be more motivated at the gym by placebo effect. Would love to see graphs from stats, labs and workout trackers to see if you are beating what would be considered normal gains.
@vonendorphin "Both users" cracked me up! Thank you! Of course you are correct about confounding factors. What phrase is usually at the end of almost every medical study?- "more research is needed to explain blah, blah, blah". I'm an N=1. 30 years ago I used to track stuff like that when I was doing triathlons. But that dog don't hunt no more. I will say my stack is stable with the only major change being no reta for the last month when I felt it was holding back gains. I have used the Tonal system exclusively for resistance training for the last 4 and a half years and made solid gains the old fashioned way- ie dad bod and no peps. It has something called a strength score which I follow with marginal interest. I'll see if I can figure out how to pull a screen shot of the last six months and post it- but I'm an old fart who is constantly several steps behind in tech. To save you the suspense it would show my score falling off a cliff mid February due to a small rotator cuff tear and a nasty case of impingement. Rehab. Started back slow and steady while avoiding certain lifts not endorsed by my ortho colleagues. Finally feeling confident enough in my shoulder to start pushing it again. But what I see, during a period of forced reduced effort, has still impressed me, which I attribute to FLGR. The missus is impressed enough she's gonna start the women's version called 'slim assist' so we'll maybe have some N=2 data in a few months! Our moto has been we have to either see it or feel it or it goes to the back of the line.

@Stones67 any weird side effects worth note? I feel like they'd be similar to gh
@Stones67 any weird side effects worth note? I feel like they'd be similar to gh
No FLGR negative sides whatsoever. None. Not AT ALL like GH.
Positives- The vascularity (unmistakable), craving workouts once this stuff kicks in over time and at higher doses (1mg/day). The ramp-up of those effects lasted for approx 6-8 weeks and tapered away as I packed on the skeletal muscle mass.
Side note for those on a GLP- YOU HAVE TO EAT PROTEIN (not garbage crap) and lots of it for this to generate a supercharging effect on lean mass. I would suggest Jaquish Biomedical Fortagen 2x daily + the biggest fatty ribeye(s) you can cram down. And roe, lots of roe

GH over 4-6IU I get the darn mitten-hands and clown-shoe feet
Otherwise I'd run 10 IU of the stuff. It's so cheap nowadays for pharma-grade+. -

@PeptidePete www.red-caviar.com seems to be a lot cheaper for ossetra.

LOL

A funny crowd! I'm pretty positive it is joking but to be clear I meant I get extremity edema, swelling. More IU's = big ass fluid-swollen feet and hands. Nothing harmful, just inconvenient.
In regards to roe sources, I have tried many and I would suggest others do the same as it is quite educational. I've yet to find any kg pricing less than approx $850/$900 that is quality I will accept, around $1000 it gets very nice. I seek and stock up on the $2000/kg stuff when it goes on sale ($2000->$1000/kg). I only ever buy kg tins, do your math cost per oz and it'll be clear why.
As I noted upthread, the lower quality roe releases oil into the tin as you work through it and I find that not appetizing, although it may be meaningless in regards to quality (I don't know).
Oh PS- Paddlefish roe while nutritionally above salmon releases a LOT of oil into the tin and I can't deal with that and/or the flavor of it. Ghetto sturgeon if you will. If someone can deal with it, the price is midpoint of the salmon and sturgeon. There is no free lunch in the value proposition across the roe spectrum as researchers will discover.
@randy do you want to rename this thread "PeptidePete's Batshit Crazy Researching Featuring FLGR242 and a-Klotho" and I'll update with a post of my current full regimen which will shock some folks (not joking). Not appropriate to do with current title.

@PeptidePete Did you see the email for the 48hr sale?

PeptidePete please make a thread about Roe! do you find it superior to any other form of fish oil type supplementation?

Mike Farber serves up a-Klotho and FLGR242 important to know info: https://x.com/JayCampbell333/status/2066311940763529428

Quick comment- no fish burps, no nausea, a more rounded nutritional profile. I have tried many fish oil caps and can only tolerate Nordic natural Ultimate Omega. No need for capsules if you frequently eat roe.
Suggest salmon or sturgeon roe with fresh, organic, avocado. And/Or, added to sliced boiled corn/soy free eggs.

Where do you read the information about products from Biolongevity Labs like Cell Factors, Klotho or FLGR? They have almost no information on their site.

All his YT videos were taken down, were a wealth of background info. They have info sheets that you can somehow request, I am not sure, suggest emailing or calling. Also JC has his own private group which I was a member of for a few months but was not willing to spend $120/mo when I had more/better info that 95% of participants.

@PeptidePete Yep. Thx. Ordered another 12 vials. Think I'm gonna up the dose so wanted a larger stockpile. I've been a bit of a baby in terms my workouts, due to my shoulder recovery, but its time to hit it! Standard or max on the cell factors? Let me know if you feel anything! Trying to decide between Klotho vs Factors as my next step.
-
@peptidepete so is the idea behind Cell Factors that it is stem-cell adjacent for a lot less money and not using actual human tissue? Would one want to research Klotho first/instead of? I am just peeking down the rabbit hole of FLGR, etc.

I used it the first time approx 2 months ago, pinned the "Max". Feel is like a-Klotho, very subtle but I felt "better", "cleaner" for weeks subsequent. That is some mushy subjective stuff, no doubt, but I am and have been well-optimized so benefits will be at the margins (for me).
You on the other hand would be a GREAT test subject

I think you offered a good description! "Stem-cell adjacent"
Knowing what I know I would NEVER inject stem cells. Adeel Khan turned out to be a grifter and actually dangerous (he has infected many people, sepsis!) by the accounts of a certain investigative expose on YT.
Cell Factors on the other hand appear perfectly safe and the science and man behind the product (Sanjiv) and company are reputable by my due diligence. Grok tells me the science and product is sound.
I'd love to read others experiences researching Cell Factors
It is recommended to use all three at the same time, synergistic to do so, the rationale makes sense to me-differing but complementary mechanisms and pathways. Sorry, countering aging costs money, complain to your creator lol
