Peptides that work with nasal sprays
-
Following up on today’s excellent video, I was wondering if you can provide a list of peptides that are compatible and effective with nasal sprays. Obviously Semax. I have heard oxytocin. What else works as a spray?

Any particular reason as have you tested?
I was just about to whip up VIP and PT141 for shits and giggles

did you figure it out? I'm looking to recon VIP as a spray. There is some info/evidence around it being administered nasally. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23444784/

Technically anything with a Dalton weight under 500 will work.

Glutathione works because its 307.32 daltonsThis is what I was looking for! Glad to see it can be nasal, going to give it a try. I wanted to try this route since Liposomal didn't really get anything from it. Don't really want to try the SubQ, GHK sting is bad enough

Do you have a recipe you use?

@wisgal64 recipe for glutathione intranasal? I use 2ml bac water and 5ml of sterile .9% saline that’s intended for a nebulizer. Adding the bac water helps with absorption because I’ve made it with just saline and it didn’t have the same effect. It will have a sulfur smell. Not overwhelming.
Here’s a research article if you’d like to dive deeper into intranasal administration.

VIP works as a spray. I've heard PT-141 works. My friends use BPC-157 in a sprayer. I've also heard Selank works in a sprayer. I'm sure there are more.

I have successfully tested the following peptides and efficacy seems as good if not better for most.
VIP
DSIP
Selank
Pinealon

THIS! Yes it has to do with the Dalton molecular weight of the peptide for it to be absorbable via nasal route.

I've just been told I should make VIP into a nasal spray for my chronic sinus issues (have to use nasal spray at night or my sinuses plug shut, steroids don't help). I don't have a clue how to do that. Didn't even know what VIP was. Are there directions for dummies somewhere?

The 500 Da limit is about crossing from the bloodstream into the brain (the Blood-Brain Barrier, or BBB).
1,000+ Da is still possible when we are talking about crossing from the nasal cavity into the brain/body (the nasal mucosa and the nose-to-brain pathway).
that's why things like MT2 which is over 1000 Da still work.
when you say "only up to 500 Da," you are thinking of injected peptides trying to cross the BBB.
peptides >1,000 Da still work intranasally, we are talking about sprayed peptides using the nose-to-brain pathway.
