New Lab - Koverlabs, a bit concerning?
-
@gym.rat an octopus grew inside the vial lol. Sorry that’s not the way bacteria etc grows it’s more tree like if it’s really bad. If I am looking at what you are talking about. There are other clues that it’s either photoshopped or AI you can see reflections. It’s not real I don’t think. I never say never but based on the shadows etc those vials were place in the photo with the octopus inside

One thing I noticed from a couple of different vendor sites that i visited was Freedom tests the were a lower percentage, then new Kovera lab results that were much higher results.
It seemed to me that some vendors weren't getting their desired results from Freedom so switched to Kovera with much success.
At one point I was checking many sites for a go to. So many sites/vendors that I wanted nothing to do with.

That's concerning. I have a bunch of vials with Kovera and ILS COAs.

Rest of my stock is Freedom and Vanguard. After more vendors offered 7/7 testing, I started preferring them but now I've to be judicious about Kovera and ILS COAs.

@pep_researcher they switched from freedom because freedom was testing well out of range on some compounds and not double checking.
I have a test from them thats suss currently.
I dont like how close freedom is with peptira. Ive heard the term "partner"thrown around.

@gym.rat said:
personally have had zero issues with their products and same goes for Glacier
I know in RUO world this rhetoric gets thrown around a lot, but with all due respect one RS not having an issue is not a scientific proof that the product is well tested and the lab is doing its job correctly. It could be that the product was good to begin with or the RS didn't show reaction to a bad product.

@gym.rat ILS MAY be fine but I am not messing with this stuff right now. Vanguard, Trustpoint and Janoshik for me. In fact I would take Janoshik over anyone we know Nexaph is the dominant player and they won’t use any other lab so they pay top dollar for Janoshik. They are open minded to it but not yet. These labs that just popped up are super risky. They have no history, little to no database and who knows about equipment and skill set. Some testing requires lots of training, skill, equipment and the right environment. 7 point testing is meaningless without those. The retailers went to ILS because they are the cheapest. I have completely stopped buying from Crush and they were one of my go to retailers

@Newenough I did a bunch of testing around 10 total with them. When comparing to Janoshik at Nexaph they were off but within reason IMO. The biggest difference was quantity. Purity was off by .1. It was higher on ILS. I only did one Nexaph test though the others were grey so nothing to compare them to.
Could be me just being to concerned but everything I tested was 99.8 or 99.9 or better at ILS. All very high purity from GHK-CU, bcp, cjc, Reta, DSIP all had those high readings so call me skeptical

Once the RIGHT test lab in the USA is identified, they will become swamped and take a lot longer then they do now. Growing pains suck.
But there is NOT one test lab that has not had problems- yes even Jano had some problems (reported on here, do a search). Jano is just vocal about testing so everyone thinks he is the king. Basically he is a showboater because it brings him business.
I was half tempted to start a lab myself, but unfortunately my business keeps me insanely busy. People like to get divorced for some reason… -

People like to get divorced for some reason…@Commander Agreed, I will say this on Janoshik, they have been around a long time and have the database all the other labs wish they had access to. They are not perfect, but if your life depended on it and you could only select one lab to test your product life or death, it wouldn't be one of these US labs, it would be Jano, and it's not even a second thought. It's just a complete pain to send them stuff to test. Soon enough, they will be in the US, and then the whole US lab thing goes Kaboom.
I have looked into this since I have some background. I also heavily investigated selling BAC. In both cases, the employment disclosures I would have to make are a no-go. The BAC business is insane, you can print money and the licensing is a piece of cake to buy Hospira.

agreed! I have my setup for Ghetto BAC using cell lab grade sterile water and thought so many times that I can produce and sell a lot better quality Ghetto BAC than the toilet water people buy to save $5-10 bucks on Hospira bottle. Because I would use TRUE nonpyrogenic sterile water. But liability and potential disclosure requirements at my regular employer make me rethink. My employer wouldn't care as there's no conflict of interest, but the regulatory landscape is shady with thugs like FDA and payment processors.

that can verify Eloralintide
Ummm I would like to know how? Because everywhere I heard Elora is hard to test with that ring formation requirement etc. So how come ILS that gives out COAs for capsulated products although they can't test net content to microgm level and yet dish out COAs with perfect numbers, got the ability to test Elora.

@pep_researcher Test and issue a COA are two different things with several of these labs, LOL. 100pct purity was one of the best examples I have seen. Test with me if you want the highest purity
