I noticed somewhere in the podcast @randy Jeff saying he lives in the SF Bay Area? Dude we might be neighbors. Did you attend Peptide Partners rave party in Dec 2025 that happened in SF?

Right now at the Peptide Critic Store, you can unlock free extras with your order: Spend $150: Free shipping Spend $200: Free shipping + free cartridges Spend $350: Free shipping + free cartridges + free filters I’m posting this here before Jeff notices. Once he sees the orders coming in, he may decide this promotion is a little too generous. This is likely a limited-time offer, so don’t wait too long. — Randy PS The Offers Stack with the codes from the newsletters

@OldGuy True! A vendor showing a new lab COA on every new batch seems to be a in a hurry to get the batch out somehow than ensuring QC. Now that customers want testing, just a COA for a COA, regardless of authenticity of testing. These vendors often have newer batches but at this point I've become skeptical about the freshness of vials vs quick COAs from questionable labs. Peptidology batches are sometimes older, but they have been consistently using Vanguard and full testing panel even when it was not in vogue. That invokes trust! Not advertising Peptidology, not an affiliate either, but just pointing out clear differences I noted between them and others.

@pep_researcher Freedom has had very low content results. I just talked to Commander about this. They also got busted showing a result outside of the equipment's capabilities. They are legit IMO, just having some issues. ILS has had issues, but I think they will get things in order. All these new labs I would be very wary of. Kovera has recently made a major investment and is getting things set up. @commander is way ahead of me on this one he has tested at most of them. Just about everyone who has tested at Freedom has had a far different result when the same batch (some from the same pack) is tested at a different lab when it comes to content. Endotoxins at these labs are a total joke IMO. None of the videos of these labs show an environment to get accurate results. Sterility for sure; that's easy but not endotoxins. The truth is, it's nearly impossible to pass sterility and have toxic endotoxin levels. In that case, the endotoxins are very likely from the lab environment itself and not the peptide. One thing to look for outside of testing is moisture in the vial; you can see this when material sticks to the sides of the vial. That is a problem in terms of degradation and creates an environment for bacterial growth. I would use those first, IMO, and filter. Nothing to go crazy over, but it's likely crappy manufacturing in an uncontrolled environment. We would see this in the nutraceutical space at crappy facilities.

I can see why Lilly is trying to get Reta classified as biologic and also keep access tight — probably won't be prescribed for general weight loss but only fatty liver and such specific ailments. Here's my personal guess — Tirzepatide and Foundayo just came out and are catching market. They still have a long runway till patents expire and generics come. Lilly needs to make sure they get the full ROI on Zepbound and Foundayo and their own Reta doesn't kill them. So Reta biologic and very special conditions, T and F for general weight loss. By the time T and F come close to patent expiration, they will open Reta for general weight loss.

Thanks for the info! I received a couple “floating pucks” that would slide up and down in the vial.
