Hello
I’m new to the Peptide Critic Community. I found this through Randy’s YouTube page that got taken down. Hoping to broaden my knowledge and share my experiences with others. I’ve been dabbling in peptides and bioregulators since 2015. I’ve had two of my go to suppliers in Canada shut down and seen sanctions affect availability of the Russian peptides over the years. I though it would be good to broaden my horizons and join a community now that I’m half a century old and I’ve turned up up the focus and included more compounds and protocols to keep my health and fitness dialed in.

Tesa vs CJC?I've run thesein different ways here what I noticed.
-
Tesa Solo 1.8mg Daily Morning dose - initially added water weight that slowly subsided - stregth and muslce to fat ratio on HUME improved at a slow rate - Recovery not noticible sleep scores didn't change Fasting Glucose maintained baslines.
-
Tesa Solo 1.8mg Night Dose Morning dose Similar to the Morning dose stregth and trend in HUME Pod - Recovery slightly improved sleep score slightly better Fasting Glucose maintained baslines
-
Tesa/ IPA 1.2mg /400mcg - 3 hour fasted before Bed, hands down best at droping viseral fat on the HUME and building muscle at the same time moved the needle the most on the HUME along with significant improvment in sleep scores and noticibly feeling refreshed in the morning - drier look less water retention my favorite overall resutls. and more cost effective than just Tesa. Fasting Glucose maintained baslines
-
CJC No Dac/ IPA 350 mcg of each Before bed fasted 3 hours- My best sleep and body battery scores and favorit for sleep and recovery. Good at muscle preservation and still saw drop in viseral fat but not as dramatic as Tesa/IPA trends and served more as muscle preservation vs buiding. I started to see the Dawn effect with this stack 3 months in eventually in my fasting glucose on some days but my GKI was still under 20 becasue my ketones were high in the morning 0.6-0.8 mmol. Post meal glucose and inslulin sensitivity was solid though driving down my keytones and blood sugar to below the elevated fasting blood glucose, indicating the GH pulsing was significant during the night putting me into mild ketosis while the liver dumped cortisol and glucose when I woke up. Anyways I went off cycle and my fating glucose numbers when back to basline withing 2 days. Love this stack for sleep and recovery though.
Overall I was most happy with the results of Tesa/ IPA and how much it moved the needle in body composition while still improving rest and recovery with CJC/IPA close second.

Any fans of Josh Holyfield and his ZestyRat brand?@Stevepep I'm in the same boat as you. He's hard to watch for me now too. I actually commented on the only 2 peptides needed video stating "not everyone is looking to reach super physiological levels of testosterone and GH to blow themselves up like a water balloon. "

MOTS-C pre-workout@atlas01 I have doneconsultations with Dr.Dwayne Jackson the IFBB Doc on their podcasts. His recomendation for MOTS-C is pre endurance or cardio workout, not pre resistance training unless it is like a kettlebell complex or a circuit whith little rest in between reps and higher heart rate, like a crossfit style workout.
The reasoning for this is MOTS-C supresses MTOR for a few hours post injection becasue it is such a strong AMPK activator, so not ideal if your goal is to build muslce, ie) on a heavy leg day for example.
I'll try and find his podcast where he goes through it to this thread if I can find it. He got his PHD in peptides from Yales medicine and he has a degree in sports physiology so a really good resource for applications.

Any fans of Josh Holyfield and his ZestyRat brand?@CWelsh I think he is ok for the most part but he does get things wrong sometimes and doesn't like it when you point it out politely and provide evidence through studies, he deletes and blocks you for doing that.
He also misses some really easy concepts but for the most part he is ok on his explinations.
I think there are way better YouTube Peptide people out there you can start with the list below. These are people who do interviews and know thier stuff they don't just do AI researched podcasts specific to one topic in a studio. They can talk to it in interviews and answer questions in great detail becasue they live it and or have clinical data and clients/patients they have worked with for decades.
1. Dr.Dwayne Jackson
2. Dr. Abu Bakari
2. Anthony Castore
3. Chriss Duffin
4. Alex Kikel
5. David Deasquita
5. Hunter Williams
6. Drew Donaldson - DDT Podcast
7. Optimal Nathan -
Tesa vs CJC?@Neil-McCauley I would also add that the environment created by fasting 1-3 hours before bed and the improvments in sleep and recovery paired with improved lypolisis are a great envirnoment for the male hormones tho improve.

Flawless Compound Retatrutide (Reta) – Replacement Vial Even Worse Than the First (Cloudy + Undissolved White Gel)@Eleanor FYI on handling from Gemini - I wouldn't shake it.

-
MOTS-C research reaction ISREverybody's Rat is different but I find MOTS-C, NAD or GHK his legs are leaner and the mast cell histamine reaction is more pronounced..., but the more lipid rich sections like love handle, glute the reactions if any are milder, I find the abdomen for the most part ok unless it is lower abdomen where once again is leaner will sometimes have a stronger reaction like the legs. Hips, Gluts and love handles are pretty forgiving.
-
Any fans of Josh Holyfield and his ZestyRat brand?@TrueNorth I think you are on point with Duffin and Alex Kikel, Holifield is ok for the most part but I would like to see him in an interview, I think there is a reason he only does AI researched single topic videos vs other legends in the game can sit sown and hash it out in detail on any question.

Flawless Compounds User Review: Outstanding Customer Service and PeptidesThis is a vendor review submitted by bfuller on PeptideCritic.com.

Review
I have made 3 orders from Flawless. This was an international shipping order (Canada) two made it through and one was held up at customs but then released and finally delivered really late. It was stuck in a circle with the shipper going from warehouse to warehouse in a different city after customs released it. Flawless Fulfilment team Paige, and the owner Jaimie settled my concerns the whole way through it. The ownder even responded to one of my emails within the hour on a Sunday letting me know they would re-send an order priority express if the products didn't make it to my house and I could have confidence in ordering from Flawless Coupounds.
They followed through on that promise when the delivery was stuck in a UPS warehouse without updates showing as delivred even though it was not they said at this point they would send me a replacement becasue the order was taking way too long to get to me.
The replacement order showed up in 3 days packaged nicer than anything i've seen from a peptide supplier.
On top of that the BPC-157 and GHK-cu are top notch, the irritation and inflamation I had in my knee and miniscus is clearing up quickly and almost gone since I started my twice dailys. two weeks ago. I love the clear and transparent 7X COA's from a certified domestic lab ILS (which I'm assuming helped push the order through customs upon verification their verification.)
Next up I will review the MOTS-C, I'm sure its great too.
I have already had a few friends in Canada try upon my reviews and they are equally impressed with this Brand.
I would give more than 5 stars if I was able to. They deserve more, I'm not sure how people could had a bad experiences based on my interactions with Flawless.

Epitalon / DSIP So many questions@jackiee See my response to reaserch cat about the dosing differences between epitalon and Epithalamin and where the dosing confusion comes from.
I found for me dosing was best at 1mg 30-60 minutes before bed. It was even better stacked with pinealon @ 2 mg first thing in the morning. both for 10 days or you could cut the doses in half for both and do 20 days.
I have done epitalon solo and with Pinealon and I would say the Pinealon, Epitalon combo was far better.
DSIP for me didn't reallly do anything, but my deep sleep is already really good so I didn't notice any benifits, but I wanted to try it anyways.
Hope this helps.

Flawless Compounds User Review: Outstanding Customer Service and Peptides@Stevepep I ordered from Glow becasue they have MTS-31 = SS-31 and Flawless doesn't sell it, strange but I had to go for the Pink!
Funny story my wife saw the empty box and brought it to me and asked me if I bought something for another woman......she's Latina, so I had to explain to her why I had it or I would be dead. But its pretty obvious its brand marketing towards male/female by color.

SS 31 and Mots C blendI would recommend getting them seperate for a few reasons.
Reason 1 : You need to find you lowest effective dose for each compound seperately. Alex Kikel says he has noticed in his practice that people are usually super responders to at least one of the mitochondrial peptides MOTS/SS-31/SLU-PP-332 ie) for me its SLU-PP-332 - I find 500mcg I'm flying and can't do more than 1000mcg a day, where I have friends that do 100mg no problem. Also SS-31 can amplify your responses to many peptides so keep that in mind once you find your dose if you take it with SS-31 at the same time things could change.
Reason 2 different dosing schedules : In a consultation I had with Dr.Dwayne Jackson he recomended SS-31 daily vs timing the MOTS-C, avoid small daily dosing and focus on effective doses 2-3 xper week for pre endurance training (long run or bike) or high output days - HIIT/kettlebell complexes/crossfit to work the mitochondria and ATP systems and avoid it on Stregth training days if I am trying to burn fat and build muscle (who isn't trying to do this?). Let strength days be driven by MTor. Also to have a day in between dosing becasue there is a 48 hour down stream cascade that happens with MOTS-C even though the plama life is relatively short. Also its good to allow for clearance to give the mast cells a break so your ISR's don't get out of hand or you have to stop taking it forever due to the over reaction and histamine responses. I'll listen to his recomendations becasue his PHD was in Peptides at Yale School of Medicine and he ran a phase 1 clinical trial laboratory.
Reason 3 Timing flexibility : Although you can do them together I find running MOTS-C in the morning pre cardio/endurance/ high out put workouts HIIT/crossfit and dose the SS-31 later in the evening like 5:00pm ish to be timing magic. This was a recomendation I heard Chris Duffin and Anthony Castore discuss, they have been using this stratagey themselves and with their clients and everyone likes this timing protocol. I gave it a shot (pun intended) and I have to agree, Output is amazing during workouts and the SS-31 supports recovery you feel fabulous all day and when you wake up the next day. Totally anecdotal but the stratagey makes sense and I have a couple of freinds who agree, they love it too.

Eli Lilly says it will file for approval of next-generation obesity drug in 2027 as it clears two more trials@Newenough It sounds like its more of a receptor agonist for IGF-1R vs HGH is upstream signaling the liver to make IGF-1 systemically. I'm not smart enough to know what the difference in outcomes would be between the two but it for sure sounds like there is an overlap of benifits between them.
-
Tesa vs CJC?@derekg1 Reta slows gastric emptying but it isn't anything crazy, The standard recomendation is for optimal results two hours fasted before bed, with a GLP on board 3 hours. The extra hour more than covers the slower gastric emptying on Reta.
Plus its a good idea without GHRH or GHRPS to make this a habbit. Its well documented that 3 hour fast alone is enough to improve sleep, recovery and metabolism.

YouTube Killed Randy?@Randy I love that channel I have learned a lot and it helped me find this community!
I was going to go back and refere to the how to freeze peptides for longer storage video but now its gone!

SS-31 (Elamipretide) — Research Dosing Protocol@SkepticJen Studies used a 6 minute walk test. If you want objective tests then you can do grip stregth dead hangs for time, or farmers carries for the same distance and weight for time and or monitor your cardio sessions. All should see improvments through your cycle.
For example if you have a smart trainer or run you would do the same course and track your performance and vitals, HR, average HR, watts, average watts, percieved effort, speed and time. SS-31 will make your mirochondria more efficient so you should see improvments in most catagories compared to your baslines.
Also sleep scores and HRV and RHR should improve, lab markers for oxidative stress and ATP related measures could be tracked also and kidney function and markers should improve.

Flawless Compounds User Review: Outstanding Customer Service and Peptides@Stevepep if you want me to post pics of the order I can bud I'm as real as its gets. Yes I'm new to the community but this community helped me find Flawless one of the only vendors that ships to Canada that provides transparent testing. I'm not sure why you have a problem with me sharing my experience.
