Do yalls Gansulins emit a few extra small drops of compound after the needle is pulled out but still screwed in? Both of my gansulins are doing that. Going to look for a way to calibrate it maybe.
@Splinter I've never had a problem before. Then again, I'll leave mine in about 6-8 seconds after it stops just to make sure every drop has dispensed.

I have bought over 50 pens so fare. My favorite is the Novo 4. I have about 25 of them now. I was able to get 6 in Blue! The rest of my Gsnsulin/Convi Pens, v1, v2, v4, Xulin, etc. I gae to my friends. The Novo just feels way more solid than the rest. I also tested them because everyone says they are “off by 8%”, none of mine have been. Maybe it is the cartridges I am using, I didn’t know. But none of mine have been off by more than 1 unit at 25 units.
But everyone has a favorite pen. My suggestion is buy at least 1 Autopen and 1 manual pen and see what you like best. -
@commander Does the Novo 4 work with universal 3ml cartridges?
or did you have to modifiy? -

You don’t think it’s temperature expansion, coming out of the fridge?
Why would air be expanding, regardless if it coalescences into one big bubble?

So you can buy them from Max Headroom on TG. His channel there is Big-Time Broadcasts.
He sells them with his special adapter. And also give you the stick adapter if you want to modify it and use it that way. They use the standard 3ml carts we all use. With his newest adapter, you don’t need any spacers or anything, it just works how you get them. Note- they only have silver ones, I had to buy Blue ones in Canada, but I have 25 or more Novo 4s… -

Why would air be expanding, regardless if it coalescences into one big bubble?
Gas in the vial compresses when you press the pen. When you release, and think all is injected into your cute and cuddly research subject, the bubble(s) are still compressed like a spring. Viscosity through the micro orifice of the needle throttles the speed at which the bubble(s) can expand until vial pressure reaches atmospheric pressure. I have seen 10 seconds is enough.
You can witness this if you watch a little bubble in the plunger end of the vial while you inject your happy little research participant. It shrinks instantly and expands slowly after the push.
