I'm Hooked On Pens
-
Question when your loading the 3ml vial for the pens with 13mm filter, Randy and Jeff there is roughly 10 unit left in the filter. Wouldn't a bubble at the end of injecting syringe just push 10 units thru? Or would it be a good idea to load say 9 or 10 units of BAC to push the peptide x that is in the filter thru?

will pens work for Testosterone Cypionate?
@RussBechthold I have been using a pen for Test Cyp for about 2 months now. It works with a 29g pen needles. Also if you make sure your test is in a thinner oil like MCT that helps also.

What length? Are you doing the Test Sub Q or IM?

@Commander Ive also been using a pen for subQ T for a couple months now. 29g 10mm tips and I put the pen in a baby wipe warmer for about 5 minutes to warm the oil. Work like a charm.

@Commander 1/2 . subq except when I pin in my shoulders. Then I can feel that slightly different feeling of entering muscle.

@Commander Nope, not at all.

How many iu are you doing at once?
-
@drummnl Great question and the answer is yes. Always, always, always use an alcohol prep pad to wipe down the tip of the pin, making sure you get good coverage on the butyl rubber stopper. I will usually kinda roll up the alcohol pad and push it and rub it down in there. And always use a new pen needle, and never keep a needle screwed on to the pen.

@Commander I was originally doing 2x per week 60mg which was 30 units. Im now doing 20mg per day which is 10 units for a total of 120mg per week.

@Commander I use a 400mg/ml test blend. That works out to be 7ui daily or 28mg. Thats 196mg per week.

I am just starting to favor pens over syringes. I have one V2 that I bought here.
With the memorial day sales, do I jump up to a Xulin or giant leap to a Gansulin?
Do either offer a significantly better feel, execution, precision over the V2?

I think you should get both and add a V4 in there. I mean you did decide to ask that question in a thread called "I'm Hooked on Pens" lol. I ordered two more V4s today in silver and gold. Gansulin is great but I find myself using my manual pens more. Out of the manual pens offered here, Xulin feels most premium but I prefer the mechanism on the V4.

@josephbrown @commander @hockeyrat hey guys sorry to ping you all at once but this is the first area I've ever seen talk about peptide auto pens for sub-Q T injecting and just wanted to follow up here. I just ordered my first wave of Reta and will likely use it to cut for 3-4 months. Around the 3 month mark I'd like to essentially micro-dose daily T sub-Q using an auto-pen. I have never pinned anything before. I'm thinking of pinning like 7mg a day on T just for the slightest anabolic assist in cutting while recomping.
So my questions -> I am ordering a V4 pen off Peptide Critic and got some of his 31g recommended needles.
Can I use this same system for pinning T? I saw someone mention using 29g needles and pinning larger dosages. Candidly a smaller needle would make this first wave easier for me hahaha. So just wanted to see if I should just order the same pen I'm getting for Reta to pin T. Anything else I should be aware of if using this V4 pen and 31g system? Someone mentioned making sure the oil has warmed up (assuming room temperature is good?) to make it easier to go in. I imagine lower dosage should also make this less of an issue?
Would love to get some insight here as I can't seem to find discussions on this specific subtopic for beginners.
