  • Tell me about your journey. Here's mine.
    Mydogdaryl423M Mydogdaryl423

I started writing a small post on another thread and this just kept getting longer. Hope this can inspire someone at any point on their journey.

10 years ago I was 387 pounds. Addicted. Depressed. Self centered and miserable. Something needed to change but it didnt. Atleast not for another 3 years.

7 years ago I kicked the drugs and alcohol. In the 4 years after that my weight continued fluctuating between 260 and 330 pounds.

3 years ago I decided to get serious about my health. To do so I was going to have to deal with my first and most insidious addiction. Food. I decided to try Tirzepitide at the urging of my doctor and for the first time in my life the food noise quieted. I was able to hit calorie goals and after a ton of research I knew I had to resistance train. I have now been training for 3 years.

This March I was down to 235 pounds and after a 4 month break from Tirzepitide I started Reta. I just hit 200 pounds. I cant believe it.

So what were the last 3 years like? Every pound lost along this journey my feet and back hurt less. I had more energy. I was eating better so I decided why not compound that by walking and moving. That led to more weight lost. Every thing I read and all the videos that I watched stressed the need to resistance train. So I wondered what would happen if I added that too. Turns out. Everything. Everything would happen. Weight loss acceleration. Strength increase. Visceral fat loss. I had a 46 inch waist. Im down to a 32.

Once I had some small succeesses I wanted more. Each goal achieved built on the next. The GLPs gave me the reduction in food noise and calorie restriction. The food tracking gave me the data and discipline. The walking raised my TDEE. Now Im even doing some running. 3-5 days a week Im lifting weights. Tracking every workout. Progressive over load. Deload. Run it again. I have never been in better shape. Better health or happier. Im living a life beyond my wildest dreams.

If you are starting a journey or are in the middle of one I have a challenge for you. What if you did everything. Everything you know you should do and really want to do but haven't.

You tracked what your eating and hit your daily calorie target. Hit that elusive protein goal. Went to the gym consistently. Hit your daily step goal. Figured out how to sleep more and consistently. Drank water. Maybe even a peptide or 10. Lol

What if you did that? What would future you think in 30 days, 6 months or 3 years?

This isn't our first day on the internet so it's not going to be a problem. I'm honestly surprised this didn't happen sooner with all the needles, but getting a YouTube channel back is something I've had to do a few times before.

I found this community through your YouTube channel very recently and I'm glad I did before this happened. You're videos have been instrumental in providing easily digested information that has made a huge difference for me. Looking forward to what you plan next. Thanks again.

Before I found this community I ordered from 4 different companies. All made various claims. Some true. Some untrue. At this point, with everything I have learned I am only buying from vendors listed here. The reason. The extensive history of peoples experiences here, how they are vetted by the community and price. No reason for me to over pay with any other vendors at this point. Also they are in Florida. Can't trust any company headquarters in Florida. Lmao

    Hey everyone,

This is my very first post here, and also my first online peptide purchase ever, so I know that alone can make some people skeptical. I have no dog in this fight and no affiliation with any vendor. I'm simply sharing my personal experience in case it helps another newcomer like me.

Like many first-time buyers, I spent countless hours reading forums, researching vendors, verifying COAs, and trying to figure out who could actually be trusted. My biggest requirement was being able to pay with a credit card. I wasn't comfortable sending crypto or using other irreversible payment methods on my first order.

After all my research, I decided to give Studz Peptides a shot. Here's how my experience went:

Paid directly with my Visa credit card.

Received a packing verification photo before shipment.

Shipping label was created quickly, and my package was handed to UPS within about 24 hours.

I ordered on a Thursday, so the weekend pushed delivery beyond the advertised two business days. That was simply the timing of my order, not the vendor.

The package arrived exactly as ordered.

I independently verified the ILS Labs COA, and when my package arrived, the lot number matched the COA.

One thing I appreciated was that the product appears to undergo independent testing through ILS Labs in the U.S. I was able to verify the COA directly through the ILS verification portal, and the batch number matched the product I received. Of course, that alone doesn't guarantee everything, but it definitely gave me more confidence knowing the documentation checked out.

Of course, you pay a bit of a premium for buying from a U.S.-based company. That said, after comparing prices, I still found them to be considerably less expensive than many of the heavily advertised U.S.-based vendors that pop up when you first start going down the peptide rabbit hole. Honestly, I probably never would have found them if it wasn't for this forum, so thanks to everyone who's shared their experiences. (Positive and/or Negative)

I'm not saying this makes them the best vendor, and I'm certainly not claiming every order will be identical to mine. I'm only sharing my personal experience because I know how intimidating that first online purchase can be, especially if you're only comfortable using a credit card.

As always, do your own research. Never spend more than you're willing to lose, and understand there's always some level of risk when ordering from any research vendor.

One Important thing: if a vendor fulfills their end of the deal, please don't abuse chargebacks just because you can. Chargebacks exist to protect consumers from fraud, not to get free products. Misusing them hurts honest vendors and ultimately makes it harder for everyone to have access to convenient payment methods like credit cards.

    A Funny "Oh Sh*t" Moment 😂

Coincidence or not, my package was dropped off almost immediately after my bank changed the credit card transaction from pending to posted. It honestly caught me off guard and gave me a brief "oh sh*t" moment. I'm assuming there's some payment processing behind the scenes that I simply wasn't aware of, but I definitely have a tendency to overthink things.

    ChatGPT Was My Sanity Check

I'll admit it... I'm one of those lazy people who uses ChatGPT Plus for just about everything. 😅 Rather than ask random questions all over the internet, I kept one conversation going through my entire buying process—from researching vendors, checking COAs, following the UPS tracking, and even asking questions after the package arrived.

One thing worth mentioning: I initially couldn't get the COA to load on my phone. Once I switched over to my PC, it loaded without any issues. I was also able to use the verification ID to locate it directly through the ILS Labs website. (Phone and PC)

Like many vendors, endotoxin testing wasn't included, so that's something to be aware of if it's important to you.

    Order Details

    I purchased a 10-vial GLP3-RT 60 mg kit.

    Original price: $599.00

    15% discount: $509.00

    Package insurance: $55.04(Optional)

    Credit card processing fee: $21.30

    Total paid: $585.34

Overall, my experience was a 10/10, especially considering it was my first online peptide purchase. Since placing this order, I've continued learning more about overseas suppliers and the peptide market in general. Even with that additional knowledge, I still see myself continuing to do business with Studz based on my personal experience.

Hopefully this helps another newcomer who's in the same position I was. If it helps even one person make a more informed decision, then taking the time to have Chat write this was worth it.

(actually took way to many edits 😆 but I wanted to add more info.)

This has to take the award for longest first post ever.

@BeeKind I honestly don't know why everyone is so quick to jump on Reta. Tirz and Sema have been on the market for years and aside from GI upset, they are very well tolerated. Reta has a ton of side effects and hasn't even passed phase 3

All GLPs have side effects. Including Tirz. When I needed to lose 150 pounds Tirz was great. Its a sledge hammer. When I wanted to lose 30 pounds of fat while being able to hit a calorie target and build muscle Reta is King. Visceral fat reduction is epic. Its a scalpel. BTW I've had less side effects on Reta than I had on Tirz. But this was do to better education and finding the lowest effective dose.

    @shinobi I'm not a bot—just a happy customer sharing my own experience.

Since joining their Discord, all I've seen is a team that's engaged with the community and willing to listen to feedback. For example, when someone had an issue with shipping, I suggested they use the live chat on the website. They did, the issue was resolved, and they even received a discount to help cover the shipping cost.

They've also been discussing community feedback in Discord and appear to be making changes based on what people are asking for.
At the end of the day, I'll judge them on what matters: consistent third-party lab testing, fair pricing, and whether they continue to deliver as a U.S.-based vendor. If that changes, my opinion will change too.

I'm not here to convince anyone—just sharing my own experience as a customer. As well as helping a fellow member of this forum.

I’ve publicly offered multiple times to send you a vial of your choice to have tested at a lab of your choosing (including Janoshik). You haven’t taken us up on that.

Hi, I am barely getting into this and just ordered my first vials of reta from glacier aminos. Any recs on how long to cycle / dosing protocol ? Best time to take it? Should it be taken at the same time each time I inject? Thank you guys!

I think most of these questions you will answer for yourself moving forward. Time of day. Once a week. Twice a week. This is the good part of research and not a 1 size fits all approach. I absolutely agree with everyone that slow and steady is the way to go. Only increase if you need to. We didnt get any information about you and if you have tried any other peps. For me I had been on Tirz which hammered my hunger and led to unhealthy weight loss. Reta allows me meet my protein and calorie goals without over eating and get the 1 to 1.5 pound weight loss a week that I am looking for. The visceral fat reduction on Reta has been amazing and the recomp is real. Welcome and good luck. Always here to help.

Very interesting, I've been going down the lab rabbithole myself. My inflammation markers are high, off charts. I just sent them to my doctor and will have to see what they come back with:

    Currently taking
    Basic B Complex (Thorne)
    Magnesium Glycinate (Thorne)
Some blood pressure medicine which I'm still trying to figure out (Olmesartan)

Been having a pain under my right side rib cage trying to figure out what they hell is causing it. CT nothing, MRI nothing.

😳 I’m having a very similar pain! Right of center, just under rib cage. Does it feel like the ab muscle, or something deeper? My anatomic knowledge is pretty limited, so I don’t know if there are any organs or whatnot in that area that could be acting up.

At first I thought I had just overtrained my abs, but it is getting more pronounced. Seeing my (mostly useless) primary care physician this afternoon. We’ll see if she says anything helpful. Usually she just spouts how keto will kill me and that I need to be back on statins.

Had the same pain in the same place. Mine was a gallbladder issue. Due to Glp-1s and rapid weight loss a known side effect is gall stones. After various inflammation events they removed mine a month ago. Obviously dont know if this is your issue but figured I would share my experience.
