The "ghetto" Reta Stack. Tirz + Survo/Maz
-
@pep_researcher I get full easier too, but I get hungry more often. It's real odd. I didn't feel that way when I was strictly on Tirz.
@Eleanor Oh okay. I somehow have naturally shifted to 2MAD.

@pep_researcher I've decided to stop survo or any other glp additions after this bottle is done. I'm doing well just on Tirz; if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
The line up for me will be Tirz 1x wk, NAD+ & Cartalax 1x/day, GLOW every other day. That's it, at least for now. No need to add.

Perhaps it was my body going through adjustments, but the food noise has calmed down (but not quiet like it was when I started tirz). I went 24 hours before eating yesterday. My calories for the day was less than 1000. I know, that is too low. But it is nice to not be constantly thinking about what I'm going to eat later in the day. Still on 6mg tirz, 2.4mg survo, plus a lot of other peps. Finally down 70 pounds as of today.

Great job! You got this.

@Hammertime65 CONGRATULATIONS on your 70 lbs. down! Great work!

What if your rat is on 12.5mg Tirz, how would one work survo into this dose? Or should it make an immediate switch to try Reta first?
-
@wisgal64 I don't know how @amberlynnek does survo on 12.5. I take just over 1 of survo and it kicks on my Tirz 8mg. I actually gained a couple of pounds at first before weight started dropping again. That glucose release from liver is something else.

Survodutide vs Mazdutide - what's the reason for choosing one over the other to research?
So I read the first part of this post and understand there a difference between Survo and Maz but most of the replies here have been about Survo and almost nothing on Maz. Is Survo easier to find or is it the one preferred because it's stronger or closer to the "Reta effect"? Is it kind of like a Ford vs Chevy scenario? Or is one truly better than the other?
I just purchased Survo on the recent Aavant drop and I guess I'm just trying to validate choosing it over Maz.

@eleanor you are correct. The stack of tirz and survo is for hitting both gip and glucagon receptors like Reta. Reta is low on gip, so that’s why some prefer this stack instead of Reta alone.

Okay, maybe my misunderstanding. Survo literally does NOT have GIP; it has GLP-1 and glucagon. Reta has all 3; GLP-1, GIP & glucagon. Is this right?

For the record, I decided to give the Tirz/Survo combo more time and glad I did. I am slowly reducing the Tirz (currently 6) and upping NAD+ buf daily because of fatigue; keeping Survo at 1mg. Though scale not dropping yet (been a month or so), I realized the Survo is doing it's work! From med articles, the visceral and liver fat burn shows no difference on the scale until ALL the fat that can be easily washed is gone. My belly has that mushy feeling, as described in med lit., it's a great thing! I am having problems meeting my protein goals and fatigue since starting Tirz is getting better, but still can't exercise like I want. Thank God for NAD+ buf! I am lowering the Tirz by 0.5 weekly and keeping Survo the same to improve fatigue problem. Wish me luck.

NAD+ buf daily
My 2c - the research literature shows that NAD+ precursors like NMN and NR in oral supplement forms are far more efficient in making NAD+ in the body. Subq research with direct NAD+ doesn't do the same thing.

@pep_researcher I've seen it, pep; and he's not accounting for those of us like me who've had numerous feet of gut removed. In my case, I assure you, NAD+buf sq works VERY well.
Aside from my case, I've argued with Dr. J. about this. People with gut problems to begin with are not really taken into serious consideration by him; celiac, other sensitivities, etc. A person needs a truly healthy gut microbiome for the precursors to be of use and I don't know many people like that anymore.

@pep_researcher Ah, it's okay, not a problem, unless I have to keep repeating it to a Dr. or nurse, which has happened. (Can be idiots and scary.) I'd love to be taking oral supps and can't even add up all the $$$$$ I've spent on them, only to no effect. Very disheartening.

survo and maz available on advent today!
