I held a few experiments based on some suggestions from a research-oriented medical doctor, Alex Grinberg.
First, he had an idea that anti-microbial LL-37 together with Thymosin Alpha 1 may be used to fight latent viruses like EBV. Coincidently, I had some flu-like sickness so I tried. Short-term intensive protocol for acute infections: 3-4 times a day 0.5mg LL-37 + 1.6mg TA-1. I did it for 2 days, and I didn't see it helping at all: the recovery went with the usual speed, while the hope was it stops the virus almost in few hours.
I continued once a day a combination of those 2 peptides for 2 weeks.
To test it I took a test before and after: EBV VIRAL CAPSID AG (VCA) AB (IGG) + EBV NUCLEAR AG (EBNA) AB (IGG). The first one went down slightly 459->352, the second remained over 600. I don't think it was a success, it remained high, and even higher than I measured it 2 years ago.
Also, I wanted to improve my immune profile. My Lymphocytes are low since Covid times, 1000-1200 while I would prefer them around 2000. The idea was to use a combination of thymic bioregulators to improve it. I took a a detailed test measuring CD4, CD8, CD16, CD56, CD19 (so called T cells, NK cells and B cells). My profile looked balanced but the absolute number of T-cells is too low. There are ideas that Vilon, Thymulin and Thymogen may rebalance the immune system, while Crystagen may help with B-cells. Also TA-1 should affect (boost) the immunity.
I used Vilon for 20 days at 1-3 mg, Thymogen at 50mcg, Thymulin (with Zinc) at about 0.3mg, Crystagen at 1-2mg.
The results, the second test after 2 months of this research didn't produce any significant effect on my lymphocites. Disappointing. I still believe it can be helpful and probably retry later.
Here I want to send a bucket of dung to Verified Peptides. Everything I tried from them was like a poison to my research subject. Everything caused weird and unexpected side-effects, while the same materials from other companies were fine. That's why I used 0.3mg of Thymulin instead of 5mg, same with Vilon. Other compounds from them were also bad as tested.
Another thing I noticed, separately, I used Retatrutide 2mg twice a week. in a month it squeezed all the fat from my liver, my cholesterol is all-times low, ALT is 14. Pretty good, but even maybe too much. So, Glucagon agonist may be used at a lower dosages if there is not a severe NAFLD.
