Fun fact....no it doesn't. You need a strong acid catalyst, high temperature and typically removal of water to force the equilibrium to the ester.

@ResearchCat said: I have the same thing happen. I assume it’s because the vials are kept cold so the liquid volume shrinks and when I insert the needle, it draws a small amount of air into it. Probably also why sometimes the needle drips a little as it warms up. This doesn’t happen all the time for me. Oddly of the three pens I am running right now, only one is doing this. Hey, Thanks for the reply. Yes also the dripping issue is relatable - i didn't mention it in my initial post. I'll try next week filling some pens with "cold" vials - to see what' s what. I've also ordered a new batch of vials from a more allegedly more reputable manufacturer. Thanks,

@christexer, they definitely have a great selection, but $$$. I will look to them for hard to find topicals, thanks for the info.

@brandenscheidecker That's 5ml vial. It can easily take up to 7ml if one uses the empty headspace. [image: 1780282608542-pxl_20260601_023913559-2.jpg]

Yes I have been on reta for 6 months from a compounding pharmacy. But this is my first time "researching". I have BAC water scheduled for delivery but it won't be here for another 2-3 weeks. So I may need a single 10 MG dose in the meantime. I have hospira sterile water that can be delivered much sooner so that I can use on a single dose basis. A 10 MG vial that I will use after reconstituting. Also since this is 1 time use can I inject the peptide while filtering it with out passing it through new vial. If I put into vial after filtering it, it will be immediately drawn out in full. Amd injected so can I skip that step and inject directly from filter with new sterile 5/8 needle

my first NAD kit was a 100mg kit, my rat was taking 25mg daily with motsc I thought the kit was going to last longer, it was gone before I knew it. it took almost 3 weeks to get on grey. Is why i bought from nexaph My rat is full of energy all day on 50mg. I will not waste my time with 100mg bottles or kit again. It was not buffered, even reconstituting it with 1ml of bac water it was a large injection. forget that buffered smaller injctions are the way to go!

Also, there are sources for the filters that can be confirmed legit, you just won't find them on Amazon.

@PricklyPear It isn't recommended to use bacteriostatic sodium chloride for most peptides. The problem is with the sodium chloride. Peptides are delicate amino acid chains and the added salt (sodium chloride) in bacteriostatic saline, even in a peptide that may contain sodium, can potentially alter its chemical stability or cause dissolve poorly (clumping) which can make it less effective. Bacteriostatic water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol is almost always the preferred choice unless the peptide is sensitive to benzyl alcohol degradation or explicitly requires a salt-based buffer. For your question on GLP1 analogs, there is some research and clinical compounding data that show that semaglutide, liraglutide, and exenatide do have a sensitivity to benzyl alcohol and would be more effective with sterile saline. Keep in mind though when using sterile saline that the peptide may degrade more quickly due to more preservatives.

Just put the SNAP into the HA. That's what I did the very first vial. I had SNAP and GHK-cu in it. This one only has the GHK-cu. I am ordering SNAP and I will have 2 bottles. One will have SNAP and GHK-cu in the HA for my face. The other one will be just the GHK-cu in the HA and that will be for my arms, hands and chest.

@quicksilver80 10-4! I'm catching your drift. Just be careful because you can only find this on BLL or Paramount or Alpha- if memory serves. Not likely to be reverse engineered in the next year, at least. Proprietary albumin binder for extended half life and all of the evil beasties that screw with activin, etc. have been mitigated- supposedly. Grifters abound and the counterfeiters are out there I here. Don't want your research subjects heart to explode!!! At least my research subject has yet to appear like the massive blue bull that shows up every time you search follistatin! Ha PeptidePete had a thread going on this a few months ago but nothing has been added in quite a while. Hope that helps.

Why don't you simply try one at a time so you know what works? I'm personally not a proponent of throwing the kitchen sink at something. That's just not scientific in my world view.

@kenhnsy - AOD is notoriously tricky to reconstitute. Apparently it gels up for a lot of people. Cloudiness is a potential indicator that there is some sort of problem with the peptide (contamination etc...) as most Peptides should reconstitute completely clear.

@randy somewhat unrelated question here but I just reconstituted some NAD from Nexaph and it didn’t seem to have a vacuum in the vial when reconstituting (had to actually push the BAC through rather than preventing it from coming out quickly) - should I be worried?

I'm using this drawer unit for my pens. I just got acidic acid for my AOD. Not ready to use this yet, so do I follow the same rules of storage as I do with BAC water? Unused put in dark cool cabinet. Once used store in fridge and cover in foil b/c of light?

@Randy So does that mean I have to fully open those vials? I think with metal crimp and rubber stopper steam won't get inside fully. Right?
