Farris Labs was one of the only affordable places I could find that very clearly stated that what I was buying was Class 100 clean room prepared and met USP and EP standards and was FDA approved with COAs for everything. I purchased them to make Epinephrine kits for my mom. She has horrible allergies and gets anaphylaxis from her reactions. She has to use 2 Epipens most times she has a reaction (at about $300 for the generic version). They are a couple bucks each, but I needed guaranteed sterility before trusting that I could pre-assemble kits for her that need to last her through a 2 month trip where she won't have access to Epipens. Epipens are $300. I made her the equivalent of 25 Epipens for under $80. The sterile vials cost more than the Epinephrine inside of them.

I wouldn’t use any of that anymore… hospital grade only for me. It only took 1 ruined bottle of Mot-C 40 to switch to Hospira, I will never go back

@Stevepep You're correct those are autopens so completely different. I should have been more clear in that I meant quality/weight/feel of the v3 ultra is up there with those pens.

@ResearchCat @kenhnsy it’s not just the alcohol dissipating it’s what happens inside the bottle when it dissipates it causes the rubber stopper and plastic to breakdown the expiration date is based on storage and takes all that into account. I have first hand talked to the Hospira rep about this. Simply testing for alcohol content would show us the obvious that alcohol has dissipated somewhat. It’s one of these things we’re people will do what they want we are all adults. Some people will say screw it and will use it till it’s gone and ignore the expiration date entirely some will say 6 months, maybe a year. Others will just say this is something I actually have control over and will just stay close to what the manufacturer put on the bottle and order accordingly. I don’t think this is something we need to hoard but others may disagree.

@SublimePpr this is brilliant website, thanks for sharing. I am thinking of combining klow with AOD and Semax in the same 10ml vial and then transfer to the pen for morning usage, and then selank + dsip + Epi in another pen for evening usage. I know its not a "usually sold blend" but they all have around same PH level so it should not cause any degradation more than 1% for the 20 - 30 days of usage. Or am i overdoing it? i am just really sick of +6 needles a day lol

@mmp used till last drop for 100 days with the following strict rule — once a noodle is out of BAC bottle no repoking with the same one. Fresh noodle for every poke. At times after reconstituting multiple peps, I'm left with a pile of 3ml luer locks to dispose but hey luer locks are dirt cheap. Use noodles liberally and BAC judiciously! My 2c.

Theres a round spring loaded retaining ring at the base of the rod that the cartridge depresses. Push on that and wiggle the threaded part to release it.
