You may take a blood test for IGF-1 to see how your current protocol affects you. Usually 120 to 200 ng/mL is the normal range with about 160 to be optimal. Your base line may be 120-130, you would need to measure it outside of your research cycles. If you get it a lot over 200 it may be too much and have side effects for your health, probably something in the range of around 200 is OK for the protocol temporarily.

@gym.rat Dang that sucks. I guess that is why we all must do our own research. Everyone gets a different outcome and degrees of outcome.

Is anyone here using Huperzine A with Tesamorelin/Ipamorelin (or other growth hormone secretagogues?) Theoretically Huperzine A inhibits acetylcholinesterase (AChE) which is the the enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine. That leads to higher acetylcholine levels. Higher acetylcholine levels in the hypothalamus are thought to stimulate the cholinergic pathways that suppress somatostatin release. Somatostatin is the body's primary inhibitory hormone; its job is to put the brakes on natural growth hormone release. So in theory, taking 100-200 mcg of Huperzine A taken 30 minutes before administering your growth hormone secretagogues should lead to a stronger cleaner growth hormone pulse. Curious if anyone has experience (or more data) on that?

Just FYI for those that may want to listen- Dave Asprey. YouTube. June 2. Interview with Justin Kirkland. Starts at min 17 when they discuss the process of modern (solid phase) manufacturing of peptides. Kinda cool to hear what happens behind the curtain. Haven't gone down this rabbit hole yet. Anybody else?

I would do the Tesamorelin and Ipamorelin (that is what I do) As far as pens go, get good quality, not Amazon, Etsy, eBay, etc.. crap. I would definitely get at least 1 auto pen (lGansulin/Convi), they work great for hard to reach places (like sub-q in glutes) and a high quality manual pen. Novo, xulin, or a real v1 (if you can find one). Novo are the hardest when you are new, it doesn’t work straight out of the box… You will need at least 1 pen for every peptide you are going to take…

I have heard from a practicing MD - peptide researcher that mixing random peptides together as a blend is not ideal and better to be avoided. The reason is that different molecules may demonstrate unwanted interactions with each other, we just don't know enough of chemistry and don't have a research of how they will interact. For example they may stick to each other, block each other, even react chemically. He suggested to use different vials and syringes for each peptide and even spread them in time enough to avoid interaction with each other in the body, unless it is the intended effect that you want. That's what he does with his clients and he has a large clinical practice.

Disregard. I misunderstood. When you say tossed after four weeks, I assumed you meant the remaining BAC water, as you'd not be using it quick enough. I reread it again, and see you probably meant the cagri.

@WisGal64 oh yes, I drink a lot of Gatorade and water. Part of my autoimmune mess is adrenal insufficiency/Addison's so I have a very strong habit for hydration. BP tends to run on the low side as is. Considered a herx reaction as a possibility, but I'm also extremely med sensitive in general, so it's hard to say. Dizzy spells stopped within 48 hours of discontinuing so it was a short term issue at least.

I can't comment on pricing at all, but they seem legit and several of my vendors use them. NGpeptide uses them for their experiments as well.

Ok, I asked the Omniscience AI and it stated the obvious: Cloudiness indicates that the TA-1 molecules clumped together instead of dissolving. When you reconstituted the freezing cold powder, a significant portion of the Thymosin Alpha-1 molecules collapsed and clumped together (precipitated) because cold temperatures decrease peptide solubility. Because these clumps were large enough to scatter light, the 0.22-micron filter likely trapped and removed those un-dissolved clumps. Because an unpredictable amount of the peptide clumps was filtered out, your final solution is likely under-dosed. You cannot accurately know how many milligrams of TA-1 are left per milliliter. Because the solution was originally cloudy from being mixed while cold, the exact composition of your clear 5 mg/mL solution (10 mg in 2 mL BAC water) remains highly unpredictable.

Yeah, but here's another article published yesterday. Seems someone(s) want to possibly get rid of Survo: https://www.cnbc.com/2026/06/08/weight-loss-drug-stock-zealand-pharma-data-ada.html

But, again vendors COAs don’t really mean anything. Third party tests are better. Testing yourself is the best...

Question regarding reconstituting this one. I hear AA is needed to keep the pH low due to potentially getting amyloid fibrils. What is the proper way? I have never used anything but Hospira BAC water. I will not be researching this but the wife wants to so I am trying to set her up with it. Can anyone give me some help on this?

@matthewwalsh And don't get me started on the whole Nexaph thing because I did a deep dive on variance in fill levels within a batch that Jeff was addressing... he wouldn't have liked the response so I stayed silent and let it alone. Trust Point is supposed to be one of the more highly regarded test labs in the USA. Here is a screenshot of what they told me when I asked about fill levels. This was before Jeff’s (Randy’s) test experiment. So again, completely different information from different places… and I am sure jano will say something different. But there is no possible way an empty vial has the same usable peptide in it as one with product in it. My main vendor offered me a $48 (1/3 the price of the kit) refund for an order that I received with 3 smaller pucks. They were about half the size of rest of the vials. 3 vials out of 100 was not bad, I didn’t even bother with the refund because the vendor has been good to me… [image: 1781004397915-img_2142.jpeg]

My cat is much happier pinning fasted in the AM and not eating for 2 hours - which requires no additional effort - than trying to fast for 4 hours at night. No way I hit my macros if I don’t eat after 6 pm. Currently researching tesa, but switching back to CJC/Ipa once that is done. I expect excellent results based on the last cycle of that. IMO, of sermorelin, Tesa, and CJC/Ipa, CJC/Ipa has the most noticeable results fastest. Which is probably why it is so popular relative to the other GHRH secretagogues.
